Customer Reviews

Lifetime Reminiscence 5.5 ft. EverClean Whirlpool Tub with Reversible Drain in White is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Control issue in manufacturing This 5-1/2 foot tub has a beautiful look & finish & is quiet. The OPTIONAL heater seems to work well. My installer, however, showed me that the fiberglass skids mounted on the bottom were not attached squarely so when it sat on a flat surface the top was not level side to side by at least 2 inches. He had to glue shims to the bottom to square it up before he set it in mortar mix. The operation probably cost me 2-3 extra hours of his labor cost. If I had the time to wait and had a alternative in another brand I would have returned it as defective. Also the Specifications section could be interpreted as a heater is included-it is not. It is a $209 item in stock in most stores. I hope the pump motor and finish hold up. So far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and quiet I had a similar issue as the other reviewer but it sounds like his was worse? This is an unusual shaped tub but only slightly more difficult to install than other drop ins. I built the surround and deck first, then set the tub in the deck with some 4x4's under the lip of the tub so I could see exactly where mortar was needed. Once the mortar was in I lowered the tub into the mortar and put some sand bags in to get it good and settled. Mine did not need shims. Once filled with water (and you), the weight should be on the mortar, not on the deck of the surround. Get a really high flow faucet and run 3/4" pipe all the way to it. I found a lot of the classic looking decorative faucets at the time did not have a high flow rate.
