My workman has worked on this faucet 2x, and it still leaks all over my bathroom floor. I'm ready to send it back, and order a different brand. The faucet has a speed connect drain, and I think that is where the problem may be. The water from the basin of the sink doesn't seem to drain out very fast, and when it's gone, most of it seems to be on my floor. This faucet definitely needs help. Any ideas?

A number of things could be the source of the problem: a poor seat if not cinched tight enough or if seated cock-eyed; improper order or direction of assembly (the rubber piece must be fitted small end up to bottom of sink and with the slip disk between its flat bottom surface and the nut that tightens it up; missing silicone ring in the PVC connection; a cracked pipe or fitting; a non-standard hole size or shape in the basin; improperly fitted stopper connection, etc.
I've recently installed three of these with zero drips from the drain fittings. Unless there was a defective part, I doubt that the supplied parts are at fault. If you have a chance to discuss the points above with your installer, or have him pinpoint the location of the leak, you might discover a solution before trying another product. Read Less

Yeah, tighten the nut under the drain! Mine was having the same issue initially when I hand-tightened it, but once I used a wrench and got a few more turns, it stopped leaking.

Make sure the water is not leaking where the supplied drain pipe connects to the P Trap with the compression fitting. Even though they say you don’t have too all of our leak problems have been where the plastic drain part joins. I used pipe joint compound in the plastic threads at both ends of the P Trap. Hand tighten, do not over tighten, the fittings and let it set up overnight and see if that stops the leak. I would check your overflow drain in the sink to make sure it does not have a blockage as that acts as an air gap for the drain which can slow the water from draining.

>>Your workman's prior experience installing faucets has caused him to install the faucet's drain pipe and stopper cable without reading the instructions.
>>Your sink has a defect that prevents a proper seal.
>>You might have a leak from the stopper cable insertion area. Check that the securing nut for the cable is snug.
>>Check that the drain pipe connections below the sink are snug and not cross threaded.
>>You could have a defective faucet. You may need to return your unit to the store for a replacement and try again.

My bathroom faucet is dripping. I can remove the handle but cannot remove the part where I believe the washers are located. Are there faucets made that do not have washers?

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best cheap product Very nice quality it was on clearance I needed one I had the matching towel holder work great for me June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Quick Connect Drain Is AWESOME! I (just an average DYI'er) had this thing installed in under 10 minutes. The install was super easy. It looks Great. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet I am very pleased with this faucet. I did a quite a bit of research to find a great faucet that wouldn't cost too much, and those reviews pointed me to this faucet. It was very simple and quick to install and feels solid for the price. I haven't replaced a bathroom faucet in some time so I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of installing the drain assembly. The ease comes from the simplicity of the drain assembly's connection with the faucet, it uses a cable to clip into the drain-plug. This took just a couple of minutes to install. Overall I would buy this faucet again. I'm very happy. September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easiest DYI project ever! I bought this faucet after reading many reviews - I wanted a quality product at a value price. I have several bathroom faucets to replace in our 35 year old house that are corroded and/or leaking, but can't afford to spend a fortune on each one. I like to shop online and pick up at the store, and that was the first plus for this project. My local store had what I wanted and had it ready within the hour. I'm a mediocre DIY-er (middle aged woman) and this was the simplest installation I could have imagined (after taking out the old faucet - that took forever! ) Once I had the old out and the work surface cleaned up, it was literally minutes before this was in and running like a champ. Thanks again, Home Depot! February 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by All looked great accept.... One thing I appreciate any time is... ease of installation. American Standard definitely were doing the right thing in giving that problem area a lot of effort to help out. There is still some question though about some small parts on the matching pop-up drain. There's a quick and easy guide that stresses not to remove the foam guard on the actual stopper until it's installed, however there is another foam disc that seems to need to be under the base of the stopper, but seeing how you have to disassemble the rubber stopper and "slip disc" (another unidentified part I learned about in the comments section, not from American Standard...) to put the stopper together from underneath, it kept a beginner like me worried I didn't have the parts in the right order. I'm going to leave the foam where it is-- right under the base and against the actual sink drain, and tighten the rest of it underneath as it seems to be hinting.... I just wish each piece was labeled and shown in each place they belong. Other than that--- the fixtures are very nice for the money. March 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just Installed Three of These The reviews here were instrumental in my decision to purchase three of these faucets. The original, twelve-year-old Delta units in my house were all leaking and looking drab. They were beastly to remove, too. These Marquette units not only look fantastic, but they were super easy to install. I showed my son how to do the first one and he was able to do the other two without any trouble. We are very happy with the look and the function, and impressed with the value for the price. March 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks and works great. Easy to install Very pleased with this faucet. Every time my 2 year old granddaughter walks by it, she says, "good job grandpa"" March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very nice nice product and fairly easy to install, nice finish and price was very fair March 8, 2016
