I bought two of these for my double vanity. The design of the drain plug mechanism is so counterintuitive that my licensed plumber broke both on install. This was an attempt to solve that problem. No luck. I will be returning this as soon as I can find the time.

The same as the other 2 reviews. I flip homes for a living and have never ran into such a pain.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ken Shanks are too short for tile counter!
I bought this thinking it would work for a temporary solution in a bath that was to be remodeled in the next year. The problem is the package does not note that the shanks on the valves and spigot are only 1 3/4" long. Tile counters and be much thicker, mine are 2 1/4". On top of that, the threads are metric and while I have a machine shop and could make something to work, I cannot cut metric threads on my lathe. While American Standard does make shank extenders, they do not have anything for 27mm x 1.5.

I bought two from Home Depot and they both leaked (in different places). I spent hours to tighten and re-tighten without solving the problem. I then bought a different brand and it's so easy and has been working perfectly. I should have read the reviewers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GABBB If they've made a faucet that is simpler to install, I have not found it!
I've installed a number of bathroom sink faucets over the years, and I've become adept at contorting myself to get handles fixed in place and make everything line up. Then along comes American Standard with this bodacious idea of making things EASY to install. How dare they? With this faucet, there is no need for my fancy basin wrench or most of my other tools.
Outside of using my other tools to remove the OLD faucet, I don't think I used more than an open ended wrench to install this one. American Standard "reinvented" the faucet. Instead of having heavy nuts and washers, they opt for a simple, high strength, plastic nut that you can hand tighten. They also include the supply lines, and they kindly mark them blue stripes for cold and red stripes for hot. That saves you a few bucks right there.
American Standard has even made hooking up the pop up drain easy with a very simple screw on adapter.
The "working parts" of the faucet are heavy duty chrome plated brass, and I am very certain we will get many years of life out of these parts. They've made this faucet very easy to install and, if the need should ever arise, remove as well. Because there are no metal nuts to corrode under the sink, whenever you have to remove the handles, that task will be MUCH easier.
I had this installed in about 30-40 minutes, and there were NO leaks. You don't even need plumber's putty. Hats off to the folks at American Standard. This is a faucet every home owner should enjoy installing.

I had two problems with this faucet.
The first and the most irritating was the poor quality of the fastening nuts, shims and washers.
The nylon parts wouldn't snug up so I used the brass hardware from.
My twenty year old faucet I replaced. I also was shorted a faucet handle cap and it has been four weeks and it is still on backorder.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by thelmalou great neutral piece, works better than the one we replaced that only lasted 1 1/2 years:(
Husband said it was super easy to install. I only gave 4 stars for quality because ultimately it is new. the true test comes years down the road with how it holds up. That being said, it appears to be well made handles aren't jiggly and water flow is excellent.
