how to install new cartridge

Asked by: Anonymous
You need a 3 3nds allen screw to remove set screw in handle. Once the handle is removed, the cartridge is right beneath it. You then would need to remove all 3 cartridge screws to get the cartridge out.

Customer Reviews

Reliant+ Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive, cheap faucet This faucet was not terribly difficult to install, and worked well for a while. However, after a few months it became difficult to rotate it left or right - the bearing got very gummed up. Could be a problem with our water here in League City, TX, but that wasn't the worst part. After about 8 months of operation, the bulb at the end developed a crack in the housing near where the water comes out. The crack is growing and water now sprays out to the side. I have no idea where our receipt or proof of purchase is, so I'm pretty much out of luck. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice faucet but button broke off The button to change to spray function cracked and broke off with normal use. Also, when new it would return to streaming when turned off, but eventually just stayed on spray function unless manually changed. (I like it better the second way)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the quality I expected Pros: This was very easy to install and came in the exact color that I wanted. It also has the sprayer as part of the actual unit and not separate. Cons: Finish bubbled underneath and began chipping. The faucet leaked and I needed to continuously tighten the connection because pulling it in and out would loosen it up over time. After a few months, it was difficult to pull the spayer out because it would stick and sometimes you needed 2 hands and quite a bit of force to pull it out. Not exactly the quality i expected from an american standard product. They also don't make the bone colored faucet anymore as a replacement under warranty. They have offered me a replacement of the stainless steel one, which is what i will do since I can't see spending all that money and getting nothing in return except for a defective product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spots show - does not dry clear It came with discoloration on the head of the faucet which will not come off. I wanted model #6310SSF but it was out of stock. The one purchased looks like stainless steel which on the website looked LESS shiny than chrome. Every spot shows up and dries on the faucet the same way. Nothing clears it off. Very disappointed. Wish I could have gotten the model I wanted - #6310SSF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovin it I bought and installed this about 14 years ago, in white to go with my new white sink. Everybody told me I would be sorry. It has never leaked or dripped. the spray wand lacks 1/4 inch from fitting tight into the base and the white paint is starting to chip a little on the bottom on the swing. I was looking to see about buying another white sad it is no longer available. After all this time the sink and faucet still look better than my neighbors and friends and I still get compliments on both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product and Warranty I bought this faucet in Bone color several years ago from Home Depot on clearance for $60.00. The button to change from spray to stream had broken off. The finish had started to peel off and rust. So this week I decided to contact American Standard by Email. I explained my problem and sent a picture of the faucet. They emailed me back and said they no longer made the Bone and gave me a choice of Polished Chrome or Stainless Steel. I chose the Stainless Steel as it should be more durable finish. They are truly a caring company that backs their warranty.
