Customer Questions & Answers

What are the glass dimensions? No one lists the side and door dimensions!

Asked by: jw7252
This unit in most cases requires a custom sized glass enclosure. The finished centerline will need to be measured after the base and walls have been installed.

how many inches to center of drain from sides

Asked by: Anonymous
It's actually not equidistant from the corner, so it is about 8 inches from one side and 9 inches from the other (give or take 1/16").

does this have a tile flange?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, it has a tile flange. Be careful with the bottom outside edges as the flange flares out about 1/8" - 3/16", so you have to notch out the back of those outside tiles to get it to lay flush with the rest of the tiles.

Please...does anyone know the measurements of the front 3-angles of the 38" x 38" neo-angle shower base? Can't find it anywhere.

Asked by: Anonymous
The two outside edges are 19-1/16" at the floor (the longest measurable length) and the diagonal edge is 26-3/4" at the floor. The 38" measurement is from the back of the nailing flange to the front of the skirt along each side.

Town Square 38-1/4 in. x 38-1/4 in. Single Threshold Neo-Angle Corner Shower Base in Linen is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for the faint of heart This shower pan is completely out of square. I don't mean a *little* out of square, I mean that I had to adjust an entire wall to accommodate it. This made the installation process a huge pain, and had I not gone over all of my bathroom components before framing in the walls, there is no way I could've gotten this to fit properly. I can't imagine what kind of shortcuts a professional installer would have taken to get it to fit. The material itself seems to be very durable, and when all is said and done, it does look lovely. However, had it not been for my 15+ years of remodeling experience, I would've had to either send it back or throw it away. The other caution I have is that if you plan on tiling the two shower walls, be careful. The deck of the shower pan is not level, so don't assume that you can use it as a guide when laying the tile. And the bottom outside corners will require extra care because the nailing flange actually flares out a little and you have to cut the back of the tile to get a good fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small Pro: the base is very nice looking and seemed to be square when installing. Con: be warned that the measurement given is the very outside measurement which is 2" more than where the glass walls are placed. I ordered a 38" pan and the actual usable size is 36". I was wanting 38" of usable space but it was installed before I discovered this fact. Also, the shipping time is on the far end of the estimated time for arrival. So don't get your hopes up for arrival time.
