Installation was easy and it looks nice, but 30 days in and it is falling part. It was on the value side, but just not a great product. The faucet is split and comes undone at the seam. The handles are not screwed in; just held in place with plastic tines. My young kids pull the handles off with ease and leave them around the house. disappointed..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HandyMan123456789 Decent faucet but the drain assembly is garbage.
This faucet is nearly identical to one in the "Hampton" line from American Standard. However, the Hampton version comes with a chrome plated solid brass drain assembly. The Williamsburg model is about $40-50 cheaper and comes with a plastic one-piece drain assembly. I already had the Hampton model in one bathroom and opted to purchase this Williamsburg model to save a little money in another bathroom. That was a mistake. The drain flange on the plastic drain assembly that comes with this faucet is made of thin sheet metal wrapped around the plastic and is very poor quality. In fact, it rusted within weeks of installation and stained my white porcelain sink! I called American Standard customer service and they agreed to send me a new complete metal drain assembly for a "Hampton" faucet. I will try to remove the rust stains from my sink while I wait for the part. Totally annoyed with junky product. What a waste of time. You get what you pay for! Shame on me for cheaping out.

Just what you need for a retro / vintage bath! The handles are porcelain, not plastic, just like faucets of yesteryear. Drain assembly is easier to attach than most. Chrome finish is durable and shows no pitting after months of use. Lifetime warranty with free replacement cartridges available from American Standard. Hard to find a nicer classic-design faucet than this one!

We installed this model 4 years ago and now have to replace it. One handle is seized up entirely and the other is starting to stick. To paraphrase our plumber, cheap material inside the handle has broken down and the unit is rusting from the inside out. The bottom edges of spout and handles are ruffling up and the is a ring of rust around all the parts that no amount of diligent scrubbing can clean. If you want to save money and plan on using it in a little used powder room it may look nice for a while, but I would not recommend this for everyday use.

We bought this 7 years ago from Home Depot. It's only sold here. The handles never did work right. One would spin and occasionally turn on or off the hot water and could be lifted off. The cold worked fine. The spigot was loose constantly even though I tightened the brass bolt under it. Now the handles spin with no action on the hot water side. I called American standard to get replacement plastic parts to hook up the handle to the hot water cartridge. They did send them free. I will try this once, if things don't improve I will trash this thing and buy another brand.

Bought this about 3 months ago. Hot water all of a sudden had little pressure. Looked under sink. "Braided" tubing has a kink in it. removed tubing, realigned it. still wants to kink. Upsetting have to replace $21.00 worth of parts on an $80.00 fixture. Do the math. 25% of cast replacement. Thank God Home Depot doesn't sell cars. Low price for a poor quality product.

I highly recommend this bathroom faucet set. It is the second American Standard 8" spread unit in the Wliiamsburg series that I have purchased in the last 2 years. I am remodeling a 118 year old home and used the first unit in my bathroom and have just purchased another unit to use in my wifes bath. After having used most of the major brand names in faucet sets for both kitchen and bath in several homes I can tell you that this American Standard series is very physically heavy with no intention of putting a light weight cheaply made piece of junk on the market. Fit and finish is very fine. Have used only a soft cotton cloth to wipe chrome off with no problem after 1 1/2 years of use. Love it !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wester Easy install, good fit and finish.
Finish was flawless out of the box, and construction appears to be on par with, if not better, than the last pair of faucets I installed.
I dislike plumbing, especially climbing into a cabinet or squeezing into a vanity to install a faucet. So anything that makes the process easier is a welcome addition. The quick connect drain line attachment works very well in that regard, making one of the more frustrating parts of sink installation an easy one shot deal. I hope quick connectors like these become the standard.
