Fairly easy to install and cut. Download the instructions on mounting and cutting. I ordered 42 covers with two separate orders. I wasn't originally convinced they would install right so I decided to do it in two parts. Some of the pieces were bent and had paint chipped from shipping as I ordered them on line. Easy enough to bend back into place and touch up with black paint. So far so good. Charcoal color matches the black slate shingle roof and really can't be seen from the street or ground plus it blends well with the dark brown/bronze gutter color. Would recommend using the anchor screws at least as the way they mounted in my gutter (e.g., the back of my K type gutter did not have lip), I could not see them staying in place without them. There are self tapping charcoal 1/4 inch sheet metal screws that match the color. It does take some time to fit them in place as the back edge cleat that rests on the back top of the gutter on the facia board needs to be pressed into place with the front lip of the cover over the front top of the gutter. This is a pretty snug fit. Once I figured out how to manipulate the cover under the roof edged with the back cleat and front lip wedged in place the installation went fairly fast. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough porosity given my roof edge extended over some of the screen and I have a very steep roof (e.g., 16:1 slope), but the rains from Matthew this past week for the most part didn't overflow the edge of the gutter except where leaves (i.e., have three 6-8 ft diameter oak trees) and acorns were resting on top of the gutter cover impeding the flow. I am anxious to see how much cleaning of fine debris will be required over time to keep the screen openings open. I could see needing to clean these periodically as the openings are small (e.g., around a 1/16th of an inch or so) depending upon the types of trees and debris the bring.

Since I just have a small portion of the gutter guards installed, I feel that it is too early to make a objective judgement of the product, but it does look to be a good product. I do have questions if there are enough perforations in the guards to allow enough rainwater enter the gutter. The material that they are made of does seem to be sturdy. There were no instructions enclosed on how they are to be installed. I checked online and got a vague u tube video of what someone thought was the correct way to install them.
