THIS GUTTER COVER IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY GARAGE WITH THE PINE AND COTTON WOODS. EASY INSTALL. COULD NOT USE ON MY HOUSE BECAUSE THE FIRST ROW OF SHINGLES ARE TO FAR UP. NEEDED 7 INCH WHICH THE COMPANY DOESNOT MAKE. TOO BAD. I HAD TO BUY GUTTER GUARD PRO WHICH IS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE BUT DOESNT NEED THE SHINGLE TO SECURE THE BACK END.

they warped and are pushing the shingles up - I know they were not the most expensive - but you do expect em to work !

The gutter filter covers were easy to install and I am sure will work better than the existing covers which had 1/2in diameter holes in them. The problem with the previous covers was the fact the maple seed helicopters fell thru in large numbers rotted in the gutters and then plugged up the downspouts.

These were very easy to install. They snap right on to the gutter edge and easily fit right under the edge of the roofing. I recommend that you trim (notch) the edges so that you can overlap each piece a little. This helped make the installation seamless and much more sturdy!

They've already been through several harsh rain storms and are doing just fine. And, during the heaviest rains, the water isn't flowing over the gutter like a waterfall; the guard is allowing enough through to allow the gutters to do their job.
This fall will be the test for keeping leaves out, but so far, they are functioning great.

Spent $100 on product, spent another $100 having it installed by someone who'd installed them for a friend (who loves hers). The water pours over the top of these. Yes some goes into the gutter, but huge drips and in some places cascades, make these really irritating. I want to take them down and get my money back, but I can't afford another $100 to have it done.

We were tired of digging pine needles out of our gutters. As soon as you would clear them out, a big wind would come and fill them up again. And they blocked the water flow so the gutters overflowed. We needed to do something, and we looked at the various options that Home Depot and Lowes had, and decided to try these.
My husband put them up easily. They tuck under the shingles and the lip of the gutter goes into a groove in the other side. You have to trim a few inches off the grooved side where they overlap.
We have had them up for a few months now and so far they have been great in keeping the pine needles out. When we had snow on them, it did pile up and drip over the top a bit, and I suspect with a huge storm we may have some run-off, but even so, it is better than having the gutters completely clogged and having to clear them every month or so.
