I bought just enough to put over my garage gutter to see if they worked. I have a large River Burch that sheds something all year long from tiny seeds and leaves to dead limbs. I bought this model because it seems to have more of a chance to keep out the small stuff as well as the larger stuff. It rained heavily literally 1 hour after installation and I was able to tell right away that some water seemed to be splashing off of the gutters and there was a moderate amount of drip over the side which wasn't there before the installation. So I guess to get the coverage I want, I will have to put up with some drip over the side. Reading comments about the inside corner issues, I think that would be a big issue with this model.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Riz Difficult Installation
The quality of the gutter shield is good but the installation had mixed results. Some portions of my gutter were quite easy to snap it in place while others took quite a bit of time to trim the rear of the shield so it would fit right around the gutter mounts. The gutter shield does not seem to be forgiving of the variance you will have with seamless gutters. Also I ended up screwing down each piece as I did not trust the attachment method to last long term.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Damon Didn't work out for my gutters
These gutter guards have a tab in the back perpendicular to the gutter guards and are only useful if your gutters are installed with a gap between the shingles and the beginning of the gutter of about one inch down. Not all houses have that, especially older ones. So if the tops of your gutters are less than an inch from the bottom of the shingles (vertically) it didn't work, but they might be good for a newer house with a one inch gap. If you do have that gap I can see how they would work better.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JImmie The gutter gard is working prefcectly to date.
The installation on my house required some modification of the four ft. pieces in order to fit my house. The modification was easy, if you have the proper tools. All cots was done on a band saw. My house required 14 corners to be mitered.

I had a real problem getting the Gutter Shield to "snap" into the gutter. It may look easy on their demonstration video but it is a lot of work. Will be returning the product to the store. Also tried to contact the Diamond company but their server was down and there was no phone contact listed.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TruWebs Warning on roofing valleys and inside corners
Not a difficult product to install depending on the condition of your cutters and roof. Be warned of where you have inside corners/roof valleys. Water rush quickly down these valleys and the holes in the gutter shield cannot compensate even a moderate rain fall. You will get over flow of your gutters even with rush guards installed. Amerimax needs a better solution for the inside corner roof valleys. Especially since this is where there is a high volume of water that that usually goes directly to downspout. Leaving corners un protected is not an option as valleys usually also bring lots of leaves and other tree debris. There needs to be a better solution for the corners.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jerry Quality product for self installation
Just completed installation on four gutters. This product is far superior to the plastic gutter guards.
Installing it properly is the key to success:
- Download the instructions; If you don,t have a gutter hanger at a needed support area then install a screw in line with the hanger screw; Screw down the edges to the gutter, this provides increased rigidity and alignment (holes for fastening are provided, use stainless sheet metal screws for gutters); Have proper tools for cutting end sections (tin snips and hacksaw).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jojo great gutter guards
I purchased these for my Dad's gutters online and picked up in store. We had someone clean our gutters and put them on and they had no issue with the installation. I like the fact that they are metal as opposed to vinyl or plastic.
