These are made specifically for a 5" K style gutter. If used on a 6" gutter, the curve might be less than desirable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job Several rains and thousands of leaves - appears to be holding up just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't like it I tried this system out but didn't like it for a couple or reasons: 1. The way my gutters were installed I would have had to screw through my gutter and flashing to install these. I didn't want to allow for the possibility of water to get past the flashing. Might have considered this if the screws came with some o-rings. 2. You really had to distort the mesh to get it to hang on the clips. I couldn't get the mesh to look nice on top of the girders. The instructions that came with this said they were "easy to install" but didn't go into any detail on the best way to do things. It seems like everyone that buys these has to come up with your own method for install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What werde they thinking? Had read a review here saying these clips are hard to install. That was an understatement. Gave up trying after five minutes of effort with the first one. Might work depending on how close the gutter is mounted to the overhanging shingles. At my house I'd have to break shingles to clip the inner end into the gutter wall. Opted to install the gutter protection grid flat, pushing it under the shingles and anchoring them in the outside groove of the gutters. Secured them to gutter mount braces with tie straps. Now the grids are not going anywhere and they stay out of sight from the ground.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works okay These girders were relatively easy to install. However, the accompanying gutter guard is not very flexible so the overall process is not good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well with the gutter guard. Bought this product to stop my gutters from getting blocked from falling leaves from a prolific oak tree. My gutters got blocked with fallen leaves, and the gutters didn't function as they should. So I put these on and my gutters have been kept clear. There is still a bit of a build up of leaves on top of the guard, but water is draining into the gutters and down the down pipe, so I think it is doing its job. I used this product in conjunction with the guard, and found that it works really well. The down side were the screws supplied, a bit on the short side for my situation, but easily remedied by buying longer screws. So not a hassle. I guess they can only supply for Mr Average Situation. I followed the instructions but found that fitting the girders to the guard whilst on top of a ladder was making life awkward, so I would recommend fitting your girders to the guard whilst on terra firma, you can roll out the guard flat then fit the girders, that way you can space the girders apart to where you want them. It was then a simple matter of taking the length, up the ladder and attaching the girders to my gutter as I traversed along. I would also purchase an additional set of girders, nothing worse that running out of the things. If you don't use a whole pack you could always return them to HD for a partial refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a consistent product I bought these because they went with the amerimax gutter guards which were very well reviewed in consumer reports. These were not as easy to install as I was led to believe. It is difficult to clip the girder on to the back of the gutter. Additionally, and more importantly, not all of these girders have the same size hook on the opposite end. This hook is suppose to attach the girder to the front of the gutter, but half of the girders didn't have enough of a hook for it to attach. Ultimately I ended up returning the product; very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from don't clip in, but work great with a screw These were supposed to clip in. I could not get that to work. I ended up drilling a hole in each, so I could screw them into the fascia. That made them really secure. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to attach the guards to the girders, but once you figure it out, it goes pretty quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works! I purchased the gutter guard without any of the girders. Had them installed about 4 months, with two substantial storms/high winds. Three areas blew the guards off of the gutters. Purchased two 8-packs of the girders for the three trouble spots. Installed easily. Several high winds/storms later they have held up great. Gutter guards have all stayed up without problems.
