CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Causes more problems then it solves We replaced our metal gutters with vinyl and decided to get the leaf guard as well. Big mistake. The gutters are great but the leaf guards are useless. They do not stay attached to the gutter clips in high winds. We ended up having to attach the sections together with quick ties. In the winter and in very heavy rain the water tends to go over the edge of the gutter and not thru the holes. This causes lots of drips which is why we have gutters in the first place - to move the water so it does not drip on you. Leaves may not get into your gutters but they still collect on top of the leaf guard. This is our second fall & winter with them in place. As soon as I get a ladder tall enough to reach them - off they come. February 15, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by A waste of money and time Water ran of the roof and continued across the gutter guard and dripped down the outside of the gutters. The guards would not allow water to flow into gutters. I even ripped off the mesh and the water just flowed along the plastic and off the side of the gutters because ther is nothing to channel it into the gutter. December 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase The leaf guard was easy to put up but could be a little wider to accommodate the gutters better. I would recommend this item to anyone who wants a DIY gutter guard. November 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Gutter guard, thumbs down :( LEAF GUARD,wet leafs get stuck on top of the leaf guard and blocks the rain water from going into the gutter then the rain water runs over it and onto my walkways it's a terrible product !!! I need to return them. October 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a product for the long run I installed over 1000 feet of this product. Installing the guards were okay to install. The roof edge has a silicone type of strip to make it easy to put under the shingles, but after a year they pulled away from the roof line laying flat on the gutters allowing an area for debris to gather. I wish they were made at least 1.5 inches wider in order to more securely wedge the guards under the shingles. Also the outside gutter edge that clips into the gutter itself was a good design, BUT it made it impossible to slide the other edge under the shingles. And after a year most of the guards were slightly twisted and warped due to expansion and contraction, they then needed to be fastened with screws to keep straight. Bottom iine I will never use or install this product and I highly recommend other consumers or contractors to stay away. Go with an aluminum or really rigid product with a width of about 6 inches July 1, 2011
