Answer:
Thanks for your question. The joiners work in pairs to slide both ends of the gutter together and hold them in place. You can check out the assembly instructions on the Home Depot website where the joiners are sold.

Answer:
Hi Bob. Thanks for your question. We do not have 45 degree joiners but there are inside corners and outside corners available in the traditional style vinyl gutter system. The Inside corner is Model #M0504 and the outside corner is M0503.

I am familiar with aluminum and copper gutter systems that can be assembled with pop rivets or soldering.
I don't see how these methods could work with vinyl. Thank you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Useful and easy to install. They snap in easily, inside first, back to front, every time. August 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible design. The instructions are horrible and basically assume you are on the ground attaching all of this. The 2 piece joiner is a joke and does not fit together because it is too tight to fit them together. I ended up tossing the inner part and using silicone to seal the pieces for no leaks. Terrible design and terrible quality. Will not ever buy this again. July 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Had this product on house 10 years I bought and installed this product 10 years ago. The cost for seamless aluminum gutters was $2,000 installed versus $200 my install for this product! Yes it's vinyl, but for 1/10 the cost I'm glad I did it. I live in western Wa state with a lot of rain. There is expansion / contraction so you need to keep an eye on occasional gaps. Now at 10 years I'm going to replace the joints, which is what brought me here. For $4.50 for new joints each for another 10 years sign me up! Cheaper than paying $2,000 or more to someone else. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not again It's a good idea but, fortunately, I needed it only for a very short run. It's convenient but not even close to being worth the ridiculously high price of components. Others obviously like it but I will do the rest of my guttering with aluminum. For what I'd pay to use this system, I could have it done. I rate it 3 stars because the material is good but its price is ridiculous. September 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by no, leaks from what i can see Finishing the rest of my house this weekend, and from what i can see theres no leaks..not the easiest to snap together but does the job. March 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible This joiner has leaked from the first month after installation. I have had to reset the joiner on average 3 times a year because normal thermal expansion "pushes" it to the side of the joint in the spring and fall. Like all of the components of this system, it is expensive and faulty. Horrible experience. April 13, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy this product! It's expensive when you add all of the components, and it will fail! I purchased several years ago. I bought the complete system including the leaf guards. I installed using the instructions supplied. Special clips are required for the gutters to "float" (slide) in. This is due to expansion and contraction with changing temps, this is pretty normal for vinyl products. The first failure was the leaf guard parts that were very expensive by the way. The water just flowed right over the top passing the gutters completely. I removed these stored for a couple years and then finally trashed them. I've bought and replaced "seam clips" too many times to remember. Yesterday I finally climbed the ladder with a cordless drill and self drilling screws and screwed these in from the bottom two at each seam to secure all of the pieces together. This is just a short fix until I can have seamless gutters installed within the next couple months. I'll never buy any product made by this manufacturer again! This is due to my experience with this horrible awful product! Oh and I also think that I should've had negative stars available rather than one positive star. This makes my review positive when it shouldn't be. December 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High price for this Item This joiner cost the same as a 10 foot piece of gutter because you need it, it is not worth what Home Depot charges for it. October 8, 2013
