CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Budget Price, for light work. I like the price point but wish I had chosen a higher quality rake. When pulling against anything like a weed or other rooted plant the rake bends a bit too far. I fear it will not last if continue to use it as I have the past few weeks. This is a great choice if you're just moving lite soil without any or much vegetation in it. June 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Didn't break or bend so far. Bought in August 2012. Used it so far to help clear out weeds and ivy growing crazy into the lawn along the periphery of my yard. Still had to dig and clip, but job went faster after starting to rake out the bigger mess first. So far holding up fine and not having any bending as other reviewer was concerned about. My son has used it too and he's much stronger than I. Plan to use in Spring when I plant a strawberry bed so will update if any problems. December 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice rake angle Thankfully this fit the bill for my small 8x30 island project. Now I only have to worry about it rusting in the future as I will rarely need it. Landscaping never seems to be "done," but it's nice to know Ames sells these tools for a good value. June 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by good performance I was building a front garden and removed the sod from the area. I used this rake to rake the larger sticks, stones and clumps out of the soil, and then used the back of the rake to even out the surface of the soil. The result was satisfactory. The rake is lightweight but sturdy and the value was good. April 2, 2013
