I don't think it does, but knowing Home Depot, if it breaks or doesn't work out they will replace it or refund your money. This is what I like about HD, they stand behind their products & work with the customer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage - Doesn't work very long before it weakens the metal and bends. I purchased this product to dig up the soil, remove weeds, and put in a sprinkler line. Needless to say, 1/2 way through a 12 foot section, the metal started to become soft and bend. As soon as it started bending, there was no returning. Before I knew it, the metal was at 90 degrees and total useless. The metal for the two prongs don't last. I used it for approximately one hour before the metal began to bend. Product is useless and is now garbage. June 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bent on first use It looked like a nice hoe, and it had the forked prongs on one end which is what I wanted. I thought the price high, but felt if it served my purpose, then it was worth the cost, HOWEVER, on the first use, which was to dig out crabgrass that had been wetted the night before, both prongs bent and I was stuck trying to straighten them out with a hammer...........not thrilled!!!! Maybe on regular hoeing it would be good but definitely not for crabgrass!!! June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Flimsy product Flimsy product. Took up approximately 10 weeds and then noticed the two prongs were bent (soft dirt). July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Prongs bend way to easy.Maybe if your garden is madeup of sand it would work! June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product at first. Poor manufacturing, faulty assembly method I love this product, unfortunately I have to purcase a new one each year. The problem is in the way the hoe is put togther. As I explained to the sales rep at the store while purchaseing, where the hoe is affixed to the handle is the problem. After about a month of using this great product to pluck weeds from my yard, (which it does extremely well by the way with very little effort), the hoe part becomes disengaged with whatever mechanism is in the handle, and from then on all it does is swing around and is no more good to the user. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by garden hoe The garden hoe is adequate for light duty. It struggles on the hard clay that we have around here. If you are needing to dig in the clay, you should get a heavier grubbing hoe. June 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great quality I purchased this yard tool because all of mine went missing, I used it right away in buy garden and it works great May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weeded hoe Hoe was not very sturdy. It broke after about 2 hours is use. April 19, 2016
