I bought three of these so me, my wife and son could rack the leaves this year, three were the same cost at one of higher quality and size. Two of the three made it through the season and will be used next year, the third died an awful death. it was a frozen day, the ground was hard and unforgiving, the leaves were massing a relentless attack. It found itself against its biggest foe yet, a pile of oak leaves over two feet tall, the wind played havoc with what was otherwise a flawless offence. The rack started to push up the middle, two other racks flanked its sides, together to push through he line and into clear ground, but the leaves saw the what was unfolding and sent the big leaves in to close the hole, the rack hit the line hard, and pushed in, it looked like it was home free, but the leaves second line of defense came in at the last moment, crashing in hard and fast, snapping the rack handle mid way up, The crowed watched in shock as the rack fell limp on the pile. silence, you could hear the squirrels gasp. the leaves mocked and scattered about in their momentary victory, but there fate was sealed and backup soon steeped in the clear them out. but not without casualty. All in all, a great value if you dont have to move a mountain of leaves. but i wouldnt expect it to last forever.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JimP Great product but didn't come with an operator's manual.
It's a simple plastic leaf rake. I really haven't used it much, but I'm sure it will work as it was designed to work if only I can find someone to operate it! :) Good product. I lack the energy to operate it! Just kidding. It's a great product! Hope my humor is helpful. I certainly recommend this product but for someone else, not me. Anything with a handle has work attached in some way. :)

Rated 4 out of 5Â by SavvyCat Good rake for the price
The wide fan grabs a lot of debris in one sweep. It's not so good for thatching, unlike the suggestion in the description. The tines are too wide and flexible to do a good thatching job. I found it a little cumbersome when I was trying to get the leaves into the bag. I think most of us press a small pile with one hand against the rake, but that's when the size of the fan is a problem. Other than that, it's cheap at twice the price.
In "off label" use, the wide fan at least made a darn good snow rake. I was able to slide it under the snow, lift, and pull to clear a good couple of feet in from the eaves. I wasn't so much worried about the roof as I was how heavily the snow was leaning on the gutters. This worked like a charm.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Snorkelplenty Where has this been all my life
I had used a hand-me-down metal leaf rake for decades. Bought this one when we moved, and I was amazed at how great it is. Large base scoops up the leaves in big bunches. It's pliable which helps in sweeping into a pile. Light weight. Love it.
