Answer:
This tool is good for scooping up loose materials and yard waste like leaves. It would be best to collect the leaves into a pile with a rake first.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for rock moving Handles a lot of rock at one time. Moves equivalent to 3-4 regular shovel loads at once. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great multi use product I use it mostly as a snow shovel. It's light, has a great scoop and comfortable handle. We just had 30" of snow here on Long Island and it handled the job quite nicely. I'm 67 years young and did not have one bit of trouble clearing my driveway and walks! I've had one for a couple of years and this time bought one for my daughter who not only clears her walks with it, but keeps it in her car- just in case she needs it. It also is great cleaning up after sweeping. Again, it's light and the broad blade works well with my push broom. January 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best snow shovel I ever bought and Made in USA Fit for purpose and domestic, too! Would recommend to others. March 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks are deceiving At first look appears to be quality, heavy duty ( for plastic) shovel with sturdy wooden handle and heavy plastic. However with minimal use poor design becomes evident as plastic neck gets vertical cracks almost entire length, no doubt accelerated by poorly designed and placed screw which serves to split plastic more than hold handle inside. Repair with epoxy, stainless steel hose clamps and screws hopefully will enable me to get some use out of it. Top hand grip on further exam looks poorly designed also but has not exhibited any breaks yet. Regret buying metal and wood shovel as it is probably lighter than this as well as more durable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Multipurpose Shovel I am pleased with this shovel, great multipurpose investment. Light durable and very functional, nice durable handle February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by flimsy, weak plastic, neck cracked in first use with snow. Plastic is cheap variety and too thin. Not sure if it was due to cold, or plastic quality, but neck of shovel cracked on first use with snow. Wrote to ames awaiting warrantee response. Doubt it will last the 15 years it claims to be waranteed for. Should be fine as a dustpan, or for leaves, but not really up to the task for snow. January 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Scoop shovel for snow removal Bought this for home snow removal. Although it will wear on the scraping edge, this is to be expected by an all plastic shovel scoop. Works well and is of excellent quality. January 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great shovel Wide , durable, strong and light weight , great for garbage and leaf pick up November 10, 2015
