CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mulch Shovel This is one of the best shovels for dealing with mulch. It handles the mulch extremely well, but don't try something heavier like dirt. I just bought another for my son, so Yes I highly recommend this shovel for mulch. May 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent choice This light but very sturdy shovel helps make picking up yard waste easy. May 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wanted a snow shovel The name "poly scoop" would indicate that this could serve as a snow shovel, but having used one of these last Winter during the massive snowfall, I would not recommend this tool for anything other than perhaps (dry) leaves. With the short handle length, there's additional strain on the back from leaning/crouching. I returned this after a friend of mine brought me a proper snow shovel from upstate New York, since there were none to be found at the local Home Depot in Virginia Beach. Given the cost of this shovel and the intended usage, you may consider looking online before purchasing this one. January 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Put to the test by JUNO With the spate of nasty winter weather, starting with winter storm Juno, this shovel was truly put to the test. Its size and light weight permit moving large amounts of snow, without it twisting out of one's hands. Although originally hesitant to use it for wet heavy snow, our latest storm presented an opportunity to do just that and the shovel proved to be up to the task. Ad added advantage is not having to worry about damaging tires on cars as one is digging the snow from around the vehicle. the polymeric shovel does will not cut or nick the rubber of the tires. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product We used the scoop shovel to help with clean-up on a jobsite, it worked as needed. March 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lightweight, comfortable, but broke too easily. We purchased 2 of these scoop shovels in February this year, as we have had several of them in the past and loved how they handled our New England snows. We were terribly disappointed when both of them cracked in the plastic where it attaches to the wood handle after only a handful of uses. We'll be bringing them back to Home Depot! April 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Versatile tool for snow removal I bought this as a supplement to my snow blower and snow shovel. With the excessive snowfall this year in NY, it came in really handy in the areas that the snow blower was unable to get into, and the standard snow shovel was difficult to use. The deep scoop made quick work of the snow without a lot of extra effort. Very handy item. March 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by best choice for the water-saturated snow, the heaviest stuff When the heavy wet snow came this was the only shovel worth using. The "no-stick" surface doesn't always work. and the ice challenges the bottom edge. Wish they had put a metal strip along that so one could bang out the ice without risking chipping of the shovel February 25, 2015
