This is exactly what I was looking for and when I saw how inexpensive that The Home Depot had it for sale, I jumped on it. When I picked it up I was expecting something very cheaply made, but this was not. Years ago I had paid a whole lot more for one that the only difference was the material of the wheels.
Although this doesn't have rubber wheels, it will still meet my need because I'm not going to be using it for heavy loads of bricks or anything like that. I want it for mulch, dirt, or flowers around my yard.

I picked this up for $20 bucks thinking I could use for gardening. I am still impressed with its durability. My husband has used to transport squares of grass and soil from his truck to the backyard. I highly recommend. I've had for 2 months. I'm not sure how long it will last but if only 1 summer its still a great deal.

This cart worked great while it lasted. But then the smaller rear wheels broke after a few months of use, making it virtually impossible to push. Granted, I may have had it loaded down with dirt, but these wheels should've lasted longer. I even tried to look on Ames' website for replacement wheels and they're not available, so this will be off to the recycling center and I'll have to buy a stronger, more expensive cart for my gardening needs.

When these carts were on sale in 2015 HD kept selling out. I finally found one while traveling and brought it 400 miles north.
It's sturdy and i have hauled dirt, cement debris, river rocks, and more. I am 5'1", so it is perfect for me. Keep it balanced and out of mud and you'll do just fine.
I have a tiny crack at the front top, but that was from tipping it forward to empty a load of rocks and me pushing downward.
It may be better suited for women due to its size.

This little cart is just the best in all ways for a lightweight cart that is quite strong. It is very roomy, very well desiged and a great value. I have two. The first one was missing a hub that held one of the small wheels in. I didn't use it or notice until HD was already depleted of their stock, So I telephoned the company and they sent me an entire wheel assembly with great speed and extreme friendliness. The only downside is that HD does not keep these in stock so one can only purchase when they are running a special of some kind. I don't write reviews but was happy to for this little beauty!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ggirlva59 Great Mulitpurpose Cart!
Works great for me! I purchased this mostly for gardening, and I have really used it. I put my tools in the compartment by the handle, put a bad of garden soil and mulch in the bin with some plants/bushes and on my way I go. After pulling out grass, I throw it in and bring it to the front for trash day. Holds lots of stuff. Easy to dump water out if rains, just tilt forward. I love the 4 wheels compared to the 3 on a wheelbarrow. I've had it for several months and it's still working, preventing some aching backs. I have found this to be essential for my gardening projects.
I even had a neighbor that borrowed it for a project.

For $20 + Tax what would you expect. Its plastic and can bend at the front however, i was able to move 3 ton deko pebbles using this... So i was able to complete the job.
Who should purchase?
if you are not doing many landscaping projects around the home. Just need it to haul some mulch begs or dirt etc.. then it will do the job.. Don't expect it work like Sherman tank.
if you are doing huge landscaping better buy one of those $100 cart.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jwrenrn Great little cart for the garden
This is not meant to be a wheelbarrow, but it is a great little cart for moving things around in the garden and will save your back. It is easy to maneuver plants around, can carry a couple of bags of mulch or large bags of soil and, in my yard, saves me from making multiple trips back and forth. It's definitely not for moving piles of rock like a wheelbarrow, but it doesn't cost nearly what a wheelbarrow does either and is even light enough for the grandkids to use to help old Granny out on gardening day. I've only had it a month and it is all plastic, so, not sure how long it will endure, but we will see.
