I have this Polyurethane air hose in blue color (made by Kobalt I believe). Because of the "Polyurethane" material, it requires extra and quite bothersome TLC. Do not subject this hose to prolong sun or heat exposure; otherwise, it will dry out and becomes brittle and it will break -- mine did to unrepairable and unsalvageable condition. In any kind of material, it may be wise to study up on its proper treatment for long storage and use.

Very nice - light to use. It is not like winding up an electrical extension - it still tries to wind itself up - but is way better than the hose that came with the Porter Cable kit that I bought at Home Depot. I like the length, and I leave it mostly unwound and ready to use in the garage.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by relsnops Great Hose, was flexible even to -10F
Due to our cold winter I actually broke my old compressor hose in half working on a cold day. This hose is more expensive but stayed workable on the day that I was inflating tires in my garage at -10. I also used it with my nailer outside and it performed just as well. No issues with it so far, and I like the fact that I uses fittings that are repair friendly.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mercoupe50 This hose is complete
I chose this hose because it is a comple hose in that the connections are already intact unlike a lot of other hoses. It is also light weight which is a plus.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dlharris1 This product has great features...
This air hose is solid and reliable product. It has a temperature range better than the "standard" hose and is capable of being repaired on the fly. Good product with its reinforcements and solid capabilities for use.

I bought this 1/4" hose for filling tires as I wanted something light weight and easy to handle. This hose is very light weight, but, the polyurethane is soft and stickes to itself. It is impossible to uncoil and untangle. This hose kinks very eaislly just like garden hose, and cuts off the air supply. This kinks even running 175psi.
For the same money, stick with rubber hose. It is heavy, but it will save you time and frustration.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Patrick Good hose, but tends to kink
Good quality hose and easy to use, but it does tend to kink rather easily. Otherwise, it's fine for the DIY'er.

This hose is frustrating to uncoil and recoil. I wish I didn't buy it. It works fine once you get it uncoiled but it takes too much time to deal with it.
