Had to return after initial installation. 125 psi, and hose burst immediately. It's the second one from the same location. I thought I just got a bad one with the first, but after two did the same thing it's time to move on.

thought i was doing my self a favor and purchased this expensive 'RUBBER' air hose.....lasted a year and started dry rotting and burst, i only used it indoors too. Stay away, appears to be some kind of inferior synthetic rubber from ??

Good construction. Easy to use, doesn't kink up like cheap hose and isn't difficult to wrap up in cold weather like the plastic type.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flywheel556 Far better than the hose that came with my compressor
I purchased a porter cable pancake compressor and was not thrilled by the thin hose that came with it. I picked up this one and I have been happy. It does not kink easily and the overall feel is nice.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by OldMan Poor Quality rubber used!
I purchased two of these; I used one outside to re-roof my home. Rubber came off the end for about 2 feet. I cut the bad part off and again the rubber came off the hose. Rubber must react to the sweat from our hands??
Second hose I used only inside my shop. It developed bubbles in two places within about 3 months. Had to make three short hoses out of it. This is not what I expected from rubber hoses! I have a Sxxxs rubber hose that is 14 years old and still good as new.
All of my compressors are set at 90-100 psi. Will not buy this hose again!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CaptainMeh Failed after just under 3 years.
Hose burst, quite unexpectedly, during normal use. My compressor is set to 125 psi, and this hose has never seen any pressure higher than that.
The use during those 3 years was very light, as well. It MAYBE got used every other month.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MAS12 Rubber Hose
Being that it is a rubber hose, it is rather heavy. That being said once I installed my quick disconnects with Teflon tape the hose had no detectable leaks. The hose end connectors seem adequate. One thing to remember is a rubber hose can be repaired by cutting and buying the connectors required, shorter hose but still usable. Also rubber stays flexible in cold weather. The hose itself is rated at 300 psi.
