The hose kinks when you stretch it even a few feet. Kinks end up being weak spots on the hose and will kink again in the same spot no matter how carefully you try to stretch it. The kinks are so bad they shut off the air flow. This is the worst compressor hose I have ever used.

I needed additional reach from my compressor to the pneumatic tools I'm using to refinish my deck. I am a hobbyist, not a professional. This product gave me the additional reach I need for light-duty use at a dirt-cheap price. It has been more than adequate for extended use at 120 p.s.i., and I'm sure It could handle its rated pressure of 200 p.s.i. The best features are the ease of storage and the complete absence of kinking.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 4WDUnibodyRidingGoofball Shorter Than Expected (Isn't that always bad?)
Have used a 25 ft self-coiling hose line on my compressor that only effectively reached about 17 ft (I need closer to 20 ft). For some reason I thought by buyin a 50 ft self-coiling hose that I would increase the distance I could reach from my compressor. My son and I were able to stretch this to just over 15 feet before it placed too much stress on my fitting/valve. The hose is hard plastic (not like my other hose which is probably the problem).
Sorry, maybe I'm naive when it comes to compressors/hose lines, but this really got my goat. It's going back.

We needed to be able to have a air hose that we could pull over to where we needed it when we needed it - and it not be in the way all the time - so this works great since it recoils up.
