I've wanted one of these types of doors for a long time. Quick and easy purchase. Got it out of the box and everything was there. I had never installed a door before so I was a little apprehensive about making sure I understood the direction before I put a bunch of holes through the door. The direction are good. The one thing though, is that it didn't come with the 7/16 drill bit but they included the other drill bit. Not sure why. Once installed the door looks amazing. It works great. The lock and handle work great and seem to be really good quality. Now my beagles can view the front yard from the comfort of there home.

First off, we had an Anderson door and window expert install our door. Even he said that it was the hardest door he ever installed in his 30 year career. He tried to read the instructions and they were even confusing to him. He eventually got the door installed and it looked nice. However, we have had nothing but problems with it since we got it a few months ago. The latch for the window never stays put. It is always sliding down an inch or two. When the door shuts it does not latch properly. I must push it closed to latch it. When we put the window down, the screen is coming out of its track. We have come to find out that the "Anderson" door we thought we were buying is actually made of the lesser quality EMCO parts!!! We bought the Anderson door thinking we were getting a quality product. Turns out it is nothing but junk. Now we need to get a new door again. Save yourself time and money. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

The door appears nice and functions well. I like the bottom closer and the foot activated push button door holder.

I brought this door aug. 2014 based on what I saw on the web site. What I liked about the door that made if pop was the gold kick plate strip at the bottom. Of the door. When the door was installed two things happened. 1- because I have side windows on each side of my doors the door is set back further into the frame, therefore not allowing the storm door to fit without coming in contact with the door knob on the front door. Therefore two long pieces of wood had to be placed on each side of the door frame to made allowance for the storm door to set out further away from the front door. 2- once the door was on the last piece that went on was the kick plate at the bottom, it was white to my surprise not the gold that I ordered pictured on the site. I called the number 'twas provided and was told that was the old model and the new model kick plate is white and it I wanted the gold I would have to purchase it. I told them I ordered what was on therir web site. And I should not have to pay for something that should have been based on the web site. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none were working. Then the rep. Said let me make a folder on you, I gave him all my information then he said hold on let me speak with someone. He came back to the phone and said we are going to send you the gold kick plate free of charge to your home.

We opened the carton and saw this huge jig saw puzzle. Tried to follow the directions. Closed the box and went back to purchase the 3000 series which is a pre hung door. This one was perfect and easy to install. I highly recommend the 3000 series even though you must buy the handle separate.
