Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by lalo The screen could have had a support bar across the middle for added strenght.
I made sure all parts were in the shipping, but should have inspected the door more. Had a bad scrap on lower part of door on both sides of one side. I hade to sand and repair it and piant. Just didn't want to return it and wait for the new one to come in when it was getting colder and closer to winter. I will made sure I inspect it more on anything else and will return it. And go else where for it. I just hope it was your contractor who ship it and not at the factory. otherwise please with home depot's products and service.

Beautiful door. Relatively easy to install, you don't have to install the frame then hang the door, it goes up as one piece. Screen a little hard to use, stiff. Air seal too good, if inner door is closed, air pressure won't let closer completely shut the storm, have to leave the screen open a little to let out air. Issue is probably in the closer, not very strong, even after adjusting up or down.

after installing the door it was not possible to get it to close completely with the entry door closed due to airlock between doors. I called the anderson help phone & they were anything but helpful. The door needs either a second closer or a stronger one. All the help line people told me was they never had this problem before and in effect it was my problem.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rusty Easy installation
I bought this to replace an older, lighter-weight door. This is more substantial and self-stores the screen for the top half of the door glass. The step-by-step instructions were great and installation went very smoothly. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this as a replacement door. They say it takes 45 min to install but give yourself more like and hour and a half just to make sure you read all the directions. Very well built. As long as you have some basic skills and can follow directions you can put the door in.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tony The pull down screen and the easy door stop works extremely well.
I know when you read on a product and it tells you easy install that it's never the case. But this time was not the case. The door went up and I was finished faster then I would have ever guessed. The fit was great and the ease of operation was even better. My storm door has been up for well over a month now and looks great. I am very pleased.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DannyT These are not of Anderson quality and I think they are actually made by another company.
I don't know when Anderson quality went downhill but it sure has. I just purchased a 3000 series storm door and the bottom sweep is about two and a half inches short you can see major daylight coming through. I'm pretty sure this door truly isn't even an Anderson product, I think they just putting your name on it. I'm getting ready to build a new home and I have always used Anderson windows and doors but after this purchase I'm going to look at other options.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bennett Nice door, hideous handle
My only complaint about this, and all Anderson storm doors is that they currently (2015) have really ugly handlesets. I live in a mid-century ranch house and the swoopy, curvy, overly ornate handles on these doors really don't go with the rest of the house's more modern design elements. But I bought one anyway. Installation was pretty straightforward and the door itself is great. I originally thought I'd get the full view door, but I love that I can control exactly how much the screen on this door is opened--the self-storing screen that retracts into the top of the door is awesome!
