Yes, it's an awesome feature. A full screen on the outside with the ability to open storm door at top, or bottom, or both.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Prepare for several hours of installation Make sure you have the required sizes of drill bits as you need to drill the mounting holes for the lock set. May 3, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good door, but not what I wanted. Thought this was the same model shown at the stores with the hideaway screen. But it has a full visible screen on the outside. Makes it look like the glass is dirty from the outside. Wanted the one shown on display at the store. Not sure why the web site and store do not match. April 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Have it installed we purchased the Anderson self storing storm door. The directions are not clear. First thing is how to remove the clips. Instructions say pull toward you to remove but does not tell you they are screwed in. Finally we called the 800 number to find out how to remove them. The next problem is how to set the door handles to allow the handle to pull the latch in. The next problem is how to install the window latch pull. Once again the instructions to not tell that it is a tap screw to attach the handle. We made two trips back to the store to find this out. Fortunately the salesman was very helpful and after two days we finally had the door installed! Tip for anyone, have it installed! October 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Strong, solid door I live in a Townhome community and needed a solid door to keep my pups inside and the chill outside. I took the old 25 year old door down as it was a full glass screen and radiated the heat so that the windows in my exterior door warped and melted. I wanted a door with a full screen (not a roll up screen), while having the option to get air through the top and the bottom. This door will do both. When I leave for work, I slightly crack the door at the top to allow the heat to escape. What I love about the door is how sturdy it is. Also, I love that I can go on errands and lock the storm door so that my dogs can look out. The foot pedal to keep door open and quick release is also a useful feature. November 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never buy self storing anderson door. Also never buy low E glass. You will be disappointed. Never buy self storing Anderson door. Also never buy low E glass. You will be disappointed. Your entry door will be overheated on a hot day. I will not recommend this product. September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product for the price I measured my doorway twice before I even went looking for my storm door. When I finally settled on Anderson and not Anderson Emco, I read the installation instructions online as well. Any confusion that I may have had regarding the instructions were well explained when I opened the carton and started. I feel that the instrucitons were actually well written with the exception of the lockset instructions with which I had one nit. I took me just a little over an hour including set up and clean up time. This door had everything feature I could have asked for given the price. My other storm door was an Anderson Emco and that door isn't worth the price at all. September 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Piece of junk I was so happy when I first installed the door...it looked great and matched perfectly...the problem was it would never close all the way when my main door was closed. Andersons reasoning was I had a very tight seal on my main door so they said leave the screen down about 3 inches well it worked but defeats the purpose. My old door worked just fine. Now that it is warm out the door expands and it doesn't shut at all...what a piece of junk! Do not buy at all@!!!!! April 21, 2015
