I love being able to pull the screen down so just the right amount of fresh air comes in. Screen at top of door is a plus so the dog can't reach it. They close firmly and seem solid. We were going to buy one at a time, but the gentleman at Home Depot in Los Lunas was so helpful, we went ahead and got both. Installation was prompt and the installers were courteous, efficient and even cleaned up. They installed 2 doors in 1 hour 5 minutes. I would highly recommend these doors and to have them installed by the installers Home Depot recommended.

The retractable screen came off track a few months after installing.

So far I really like my new Anderson Storm Door with the hidden screen built in to the frame. The employee who came to install it did an excellent job of the installation and fitting.

The door appears to be well constructed. However, the auto- closer did not function properly. We decided not to use it as it attaches to the narrow bottom strip of the door. It looks good and the disappearing screen works well.

Pretty straight forward installation. Make sure the door latch template is spot on or knowing how to improvise will get it done. First time I used a wooden spade drill bit on metal. My hole saw kit did not have the needed 13/16th but it worked with provided tools. A little handyman know how will get the job done and an extra set of hands will help. Installed mine on PVC brick molding and pre drilled mounting screws with the 1/8" bit. Looks good, seals tight, good value.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Won't buy Anderson again
This was the most complex storm door we have ever installed. First, we have a right opening door and the directions are written for left-so, all directions have to be reversed. Second, the frame isn't in one piece and the pieces don't fit together in a logical way. Third, the latch is "unique" and doesn't align with existing wood, and we end up with a storm door that rattles because of the way the latch aligns with our old notch.

I installed the door by myself ( even though it says you should have 2 people). Easy steps. Well constructed. Would purchase again.

The door looks beautiful but the instructions and the install were not easy, 3 days later it is in and functional but what a task
