Answer:
Yes, it includes the whole lock and keys. Get used to replacing the lock, because this model apparently breaks often.

I have replaced this crummy lock three times already and it has broken again. I could replace the internal parts with a key kit but I hate this lock. I could have purchased the most expensive set in the marketplace the first time around and still come out ahead given that I have replaced the cylinder and inside lock lever three times already. any recommendations for the cash strapped?

The lock has a 10 year manufacturing warranty, so if it is failing due to a manufacturing issue we would send replacement parts at no charge. However given that the lock has broken three times my concern is that something may not be aligning properly thus causing the lock to break. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lock keeps breaking, three replacements in ten years Like the previous poster my lock keeps breaking every couple of years and replacing it requires a whole new lock set. (Ten year warranty? Andersen didn't tell me that each time I ordered and paid for replacements in the past, and I ordered them directly from Andersen.) A quick Google search shows that this problem seems to be specific to the Metro Tribeca lock. August 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by purchase the latch elsewhere. no need to replace the entire lock and handles latch handle broke after 2 years of operation--ugh. August 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lock broke I only wish I had read the reviews before I bought this. It seems the lock issue has not been fixed with this set. Unfortunately to replace the broken lock I have to buy the whole set over again. It's still cheaper then some of the other handles, but if it's going to break again whats the point. Wish I had bit the bullet and spent the little extra and got a more reliable handle/lock. I would not recommend this handle to anyone. If you are looking to buy and you're still reading this...don't walk... run away from this product!! Find another handle! If you're like me and have already purchased this and are still reading this... I feel your pain. :( August 14, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Adjust catch, and latch can be ordered cheap seperately Lock breaking very fast? Adjust its catch with a simple Philips head screwdriver, problem solved. It should not take enough force to snap it as quickly as these reviews are claiming. Will it break over time? Yeah, many years down the road. Otherwise everyone isn't using things properly. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly made I just had the second of these latches break in the last 2 years. I contacted Andersen thru the live chat on their website to see if I could just buy the latch locally instead of having to either buy the whole set, or ordering the latch off their website, and the answer was no. They said the new latch should arrive within 14 days, and recommended using a screwdrive to lock the door until then. I mentioned how convenient that would be to let the dogs out every day, and the response was this door was not meant to be an entry door. I know she meant that this door was suppose to be a patio door, but how many walkout ramblers have a sliding 'patio door' to the backyard? 99%? I wasn't aware certain kinds of doors weren't really doors. I broke down and ordered another latch off the website, and it says most items ship in 2-9 business days. That seems worse than the 4 hour window the cable guy gives you. January 28, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Andersen Door lock This lock is very poorly designed and weak. I have replaced the lock twice and now have to buy another one. The metal used in the lock is so weak it eventually will twist and bend then break off. The handle is fine and has no problems. Why do you have to buy the entire set when the lock is the problem? Andersen needs to work on this poor engineering!! February 13, 2008
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible lock cast-zinc... aka it has no strength and will break off in your hand. I bought a house 1 1/2 years ago. Had this lock and handle set on the sliding door. I've already replaced it once. Now, today, I have to replace it again. The lock handle tends to twist and break off because the lock set is hard to operate. Piece of advice: Lubricate the lock and latch mechanism. I'd forgotten to do it lately and my wife broke it off (again). When the lock gets hard to operate, remove it and lubricate it. It'll slide smooth as silk for a few months after that. when it starts getting rough, lube it up again. I'd suggest a graphite powder or similar lubricant as it seems to hold up longer then a grease or lube spray. Just make sure to remove the lock from the door, lube it good everywhere you can get lube into it, then reinstall it. It works fine when well lubricated, but the fact that you have to do that every few months or the thing siezes and breaks is a real pain in the rear. For this price you'd think it would last longer and work better. Unfortunately for me, this is the only lock I've found anywhere in my area that'll fit my door so I'm stuck with it for now. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor design and quality This is the second lock set that has broke. The locking mechanism is of poor quality and design. It looks great, but doesn't operate as well as it looks. It is very difficult to unlock from both sides and is made of poor quality workmanship. I would stay away from this lock set!
