Answer:
Some of the storm door models offer the bracket only. Please contact us at 800-933-3626 for assistance. Be prepared to provide your serial number which can be found on the hinge-side edge of the door. This will help in properly identifying your door.

What is the non-bump one for? My door has glass/screen slider and if used at the top, screws would interfere with roller mechanism.

Answer:
The bump- closer has the button that you can tap with your foot to hold the door open. The non-bump closer uses the 'Hold Open Washer' that you slide to the position where you want the door to be held open at. For doors with a retractable screen only one closer is used at the bottom of the door.

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing wind chain on our storm doors. Our experience, which is backed up by tests conducted by our Engineering department, is that a wind chain does not significantly increase the ability of the door to resist wind damage. In fact, our tests indicate that, under certain conditions, the presence of a wind chain may actually increase the likelihood of damage to the door and door jamb. Because of this, we strongly discourage the installation of wind chains on our doors and do not offer one. If you wish, you can certainly install a third-party wind chain on your door. However, if you do this, please be aware of the fact that any damage due to the presence of a wind chain would be excluded from coverage under the terms of the door's Warranty. - Noel Read Less

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst quality, worst customer service, worst warranty bought new door last april, installed new storm door with it and it was the andersen storm door, by april the closer bump broke, the storm door didn't close al the way and slight wind blew the door open and bended the rod, i ordered a new 1, installed it and guess what broke next day, called customer service to ask what can we do with the situation, he said not part of the door warranty, i said what you mean he said the part that broke is not part of the door warranty and wind cause problem voids the warranty, i ask what can we do about it and all he can say is give me 20% discount next order of the part, i said forget it, why do i have to pay for a poor quality part for 20%? why not free or 70% etc.... and why a expensive door cannot stand a slight wind? what more if a storm comes, will the name storm door handle that storm? Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bought 3 Anderson 3000 doors for my house. This kit came with the doors. It is almost impossible to get the door to close with a steady controlled force. Its either too fast and slams or too slow (lets in flys and bugs) and needs assistance to close. This is the case with all three doors. Anderson needs to get with their supplier and re-engineer this thing to work right! October 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Door Closure ever Simple to install, simple to use and it's a GREAT Product October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Anderson series 3000 storm door Storm door bump closer was defective on one of two doors purchased The storm doors are nice and work okay except for the bumper closer September 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Anderson door closer DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A PIECE OF POO NOT WORTH THE MONEY. BROKE AFTER 45 DAYS. SO DO NOT BUY THIS September 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Door Because of limitations in the mounting of the bump closer, my door doesn't open a full 90 degrees. Is there some replacement part (such as a longer arm) that I could use to allow the door to open more fully? September 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Missing Parts Read some bad reviews but I over looked them ... bad decision. I opened package and found two major parts missing! I called Anderson/Emco and they wanted to charge me $17 plus. I said I just bought and parts not included in box .... language problem I think. She said I will have to work through Home Depot and they will FAX paperwork to them, etc. Called HD and they say I have to bring closer kit back in and they can reorder. I'm concerned the reorder will be the same since the parts were sealed in two separate bags ... like a production line problem... still trying to decide whether to just return for a refund and look elsewhere. Very,. very disappointed in Anderson. Also, the instruction sheet is very poor. And I'm an experienced do-it-your-selver and an engineer. June 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase The door closure kit was easy to install on the existing storm door. Good service from Home Depot on ordering and delivering the kit to store for pickup. July 19, 2016
