Dear Billy G40,
The MFG has also come back with the below response to your question.
"The ground block should be installed on the coax cable down lead at a point just before the coax cable enters your home."
Hope this information helps!

Answer:
Hello BillyG40,
You would install the ground block either on a nearby metal part of the house, or indoors if you are installing it in the attic.
Hope this has answered your question,
Joseph

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Did not include all parts as described I have not installed my antenna mount yet, but like other reviewers will note that it was not a GE product, and did not come with the F-connectors in the description. A minor fault, but another trip to the store for me. March 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Too many throw-away parts This kit has great brackets but includes too many unnecessary parts such as old 300 ohm downlead standoffs, baluns, etc. that are not used any more. Some of these parts haven't been used for 20 years when antennas were re-designed for 75 ohm output, so I suggest that Home Depot stock a more modern and inexpensive kit containing just the brackets at half the price. Then you are providing your customers good value and service. November 28, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GE? I was happy to see a brand name in the internet ad but when I picked this kit from my local HD store there was no mention of GE on the package. Hmm...Needless to say this did not sit well with me. Made in China July 23, 2012
