Does the water supply pipes need to come from the floor? If so, is there an opening in the bottom ledge of the tub to allow for the pipes to come up to the upper ledge of the tub where the faucet is installed? I want to place this tub by the wall, and I would like the rim of the tub to be flush with the wall. Is that possible?

The water supply would come up from the floor or can come through the wall. This gives you the ability to connect the lines, then move the tub into its final position. By the way, the tub and pedestal are separate so the pedestal must be bolted to the tub first. hope this answers you question. Read Less

The supply lines would come up next to the tub pedestal through the floor. Since you would like to place next to a wall, it would be easier to use the steel braided flexible supply lines. The plumber would need room to hook up the supply lines to the faucet then move the tub to final position. The wall would hide the supply lines.
Since you would like to place against a wall, you could get the model without drilled deck holes and have the supply lines come through the wall above the tube rim and use the wall mounted faucet. Hope this answers your question.

Answer:
I see the tub but not the faucet you are talking about. However, I what I've seen most often is the chrome or brushed nickel. If the faucet side is against a wall, consider using the flexible steel braided water supply tubes - much quicker and easier to install than rigid tubes.

Answer:
Yes - These holes are drilled to fit all faucets assuming you are using a faucet that has the one piece knob and spout. There are two holes spread 7 inches on center so measure yours and if they are the same they will fit.
