The steps are not included. We bought the one with the little storage unit in it but never use that. Price varies depending on what kind you get.

I put it on the hottest setting of 104'. I am using the spa cover that came with it and so far, the temp has stayed at 104-105'. The air temp has ranged from 50' to 85' since installation & the spa temp has been consistent with the different air temps.

First off, this spa has 19 jets rather than just 14 listed in the description. I bought it with a $500 Labor Day discount which made it even more attractive. I did a fair amount of research on spas and chose this model based on cost, size, 220V option, simple controls (less to fail and less likely to fail), along with quality components such as the pump, heater, jets and ozone. I also considered the availability of replacement parts which seem to be in abundance at AquaRestSpas.com. I built a solid deck for it and did the installation myself which was straightforward enough. I've had it up and running for over a month now initially running it off 110V but recently had an electrician connect it to a 220V/50A service which is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned, particularly up here in NW Montana. The 220V/50A connection allows the spa to run in 4,000W heater mode which is much faster to heat up and better able to maintain temperature when it's being used. 110V only allows the heater to run in 1,000W mode (slow to heat) and it won't heat with the jets on. With a 220V/50A connection you can run the high speed or low speed pump with air jets, LED and waterfall and still have the water heated as you sit in it. In other words you can have it all, and all at the same time but only on 220V/50A. 220V/30A is still a great option but you can't run everything at the same time. On 110V the temperature drops 2F fairly quickly and if it's 30F or lower outside you'll wish you had the 220V connection. The included generic cover appears to be fairly well made and does a great job of keeping the heat in although two of the retaining straps aren't ideally placed for this particular spa. The other morning we had a hard frost with only a 2" wide strip of moisture bridging the seam in the middle of the cover. In other words heat wasn't getting through the cover to melt the frost other than a thin strip along the center seam. I did add a plastic bubble sheet to the spa (from local dealer) that floats on the water and helps keep heat in. The spa is a really good value costing many thousands less than spas from local dealers and it's simple enough that it's easy to replace parts if needed. If I had a magic wand I'd make the spa perhaps 2" deeper but it's not a big deal since I use the "lounge" seat and my girlfriend likes either corner seat. One thing I do plan on doing is stuffing (or spraying) additional insulation inside the compartment that houses the pump, heater and ozone. I think they could have done a better job of insulating that part but that's not based on any real data, just opinion. Overall we're really pleased with the spa and like it even more with the 220V connection. This is our first spa and it's one of those things that we should have bought a long time ago. The therapeutic benefits of sitting in the spa after a hard day of physical work can't be overstated. It's also quality time soaking in the tub, gazing at the mountains and stars while spending time with the people you love. If you live in a cold climate a spa allows you to enjoy the outside more in the winter making those short days seem a little longer. Given the simplicity and quality of the components, along with maintaining proper water chemistry, I expect to have many years of trouble-free ownership.

It was easy to set up and water maintenance isn't that tricky once you get used to it. I have 2 details I'd share to anyone considering this spa. First, the heater and jets can't work at the same time when it's just plugged into the wall (120v). Without the heater working the spa will cool down pretty quickly. We had it professionally wired for 240v and it works great. Plan on doing that. Second, the website states monthly electricity costs will average $30. We live in Cincinnati and the monthly cost has been $50-$60 and would obviously be higher if it wasn't so unseasonably warm. Plan accordingly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy We are very happy with our purchase. The set up was simple. We were able to move the hot tub from the driveway to the backyard with 2 people and a dolly. We placed it on a concrete pad and built a deck around it. Once we had it in place we just filled it with water and plugged it in. It took about 24 hours to heat. We use the hot tub at least 3 times a week. Maintaining the chemicals is simple and takes all of 10 min every couple days. The electric bill is barely increased. Come winter it may be a different story but for right now the tub is not a power hog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spa; great deal This spa is everything advertised and was simply "plug & play". Delivery was no problem; ours was delivered within 10 days and we were contacted ahead of time as to approximate delivery time. Our spa arrived 3 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. After unloading (have an extra person there to help), we placed it on a level area, filled it with water, and then plugged it in. The water got up to 100 degrees in 24 hours which is about what we expected. Everything works just fine and it holds the temperature very well.. Nice waterfall and lights. Jets are powerful and adjustable. The shell and cover are very well made. We couldn't be happier with this.
