Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install, doesn't need much space Uses much less under-counter-space than reverse osmosis. The install is easier than reverse osmosis. Retains "good minerals" that are removed by reverse osmosis, though alkaline reverse osmosis adds minerals back. So they say... The self-install was easy and leaks after a week. The fitting is copper and I didn't need anything extra. I easily drilled a separate hole in my stainless sink for the water dispenser rather than reusing the soap dispenser (drill bit not included). The taste is better than my Britta but I can't tell if it's as good as Dasani. I still need an independent water test. So far, so good. August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All good Sacrificed my water sprayer for this product to free up the existing "hole". If I miss the sprayer too much, there are workarounds. Easy to install the unit yourself. Pay close attention to the instructions to help you get it right on the first try. Flow rate is better than the Pur single stage tap mounted filter this replaced. Water runs quiet through the filter and high quality faucet. No leaks under the sink. Most importantly, water tastes good..nice and smooth. If you really want to know how well it works you will need to have the water tested. For now, I'm trusting the product. Consider that you can center the valve handle or rotate it to the left or right to get the most comfortable angle. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purchased for our daughter and she is very happy with it! We bought this for our daughter who has not been able to drink or use the water at her house. It just had a bad taste, which was probably due to older pipes and chemicals added at the main source. She had been using bottled water for years. My husband installed the unit in about 45 minutes. He had to change the older valves on the hot and cold water but that had nothing to do with the system. I guess the main thing is that this filter removed all the "bad" taste from the water and we are all very pleased with it. We would recommend it to anyone that does not want to install a whole house filtration system (cost). The faucet is very attractive also. January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality There are many options on the market for drinking water systems. I have been trying to find one with best ratio of quality to price. After some research and considering the maintaining costs, I made a bet for this one. The installation was quick (1 hr). Connections were tight and no water leak. Then, I was anxious to taste the water coming out. Frankly, I am not completely trilled as I have been drinking Deer Water for 10 years; but I am relieved that I could not taste anything unpleasant. The water quality is good, in my opinion. With deer park water for direct drinking to mouth and this filtered water for cooking, I think I achieve the best way of quality and cost. February 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Water Filter The Aquasana water filter came with all of the parts necessary to install it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It was easy to install. The water flow from the filter is acceptable. I have owned both the GE and Whirlpool brand under counter water filers and I believe that the Aquasana is definitely better. The GE and Whirlpool filters that I purchased in the past did not include all of the parts needed to install them requiring another trip to the store. The flow from the Aquasana filter is stronger than the GE or Whirlpool water filters and the filter cartridges take less space in the cabinet. I installed the Aquasana about 2 months ago and have not had any problems with it. Not sure yet how durable it will be or how long it will last with everyday household use. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and works great too I was a little nervous about ordering this filtration system as some reviews indicated that the faucet piece moved around and wasn't as nice as it could/should be. That is not what we have found at all. It's been installed for a few weeks (we had a plumber install it). The faucet is sturdy, looks nice, has good water pressure (though slower than a regular faucet but I believe that's true for all filter systems, even the one we used to have attached to our faucet). We are very happy with this purchase! April 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well! Does what I need. Was affordable. Nice quality! Sometimes brevity is a gift. I am satisfied with this purchase. March 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally satisfied with this system We are on Kansas City water. For years my Doctor, Diet plan and Wife have been advising me to drink more water. For some reason that was very hard for me to keep doing. I installed a Whole House filter in the cold water line to the kitchen faucet years ago. It seemed to help a little, but adding this system has made an amazing difference. I have no problem wanting to drink water now. My wife is thrilled, Tea and Coffee taste so much better too. It is scary to think what we have been drinking for 45 years. I only wish I had done this year ago. I made a little more work of the installation by adding a separate isolation valve for the new system. I also tee'd in the icemaker as well. This way I can work on the icemaker and filter and not interrupt the water to the kitchen sink. Great looking faucet. August 20, 2014
