Tub was professionally installed in May 2010. Looked great . . . until we started using it. The slip-resistant bottom traps dirt very easily and it is very hard to get it out - even after scrubbing. But the worst part is the fact that this tub cracked after only 3 and 1/2 years of use. We tried fixing it - it did not work. Since replacing the tub means not only the cost of replacing the tub with a new one - but replacing the expensive tile surrounding it - we will have a professional fix the crack, make sure there is adequate support for the tub, and then resurface it. My next tub will certainly be cast-iron!!!

DO NOT BUY! I installed this tub 6 months ago and it has now cracked in the base right under where I would stand. Weighing a whopping 145 lbs and the heaviest in the family there is no excuse for such poor quality.
5 year "warranty" fine print reads as follows...
" Aquatic may accept return of the Product and refund the purchase price paid by Customer for the defective Product. Any repair, replacement or warranty service by Aquatic here under will
not extend the applicable Warranty Periods. Unless otherwise agreed upon
by Aquatic in writing, Customer will bear the costs of access, de-installation,
re-installation and transportation of Product to Aquatic and back to Customer."
It's a real shame companies can't stand behind there products and we (the consumer) take the financial burden of there poor quality products.

Had the tub installed and within 3 months it cracked, had it repaired by the manufacturer. Needless to say three repairs in 4 years and we are now negotiating with the company to replace the tub. We now have to pay for the installation and re-tiling the walls and floors. The last repair the technician said this was a common problem with this tub!

My contractor asked me to pick out a tub and surround, and I chose this tub and a surround made by another company. When the two were installed, the surround matched the white sink and toilet, but not the tub. So, the new surround is going into the scrap heap, and we are going to put in a multicolored tile surround to hide the fact that this tub isn't really white.

Tub went in...my white tiles went up....Tub is off white. Arrghhhh... Since the toilet and sink are white, I will try to match my wall color to the tub and get a long shower curtain.
