Answer:
Hello,
When the pan is used with the coordinating wall system, 6030FWS1, you can use any shower height bypass door that will fit a 57" opening. If you do not use the coordinating wall set you will need to bump out your walls to make them flush with the pan in order to use a non custom shower door.

Answer:
I used this:
Simplicity 60 in. x 70 in. Semi-Framed Sliding Shower Door in Chrome with Clear Glass Model # 206268730
If you use the surround kit for the pan, this will fit with no issues. I used tile for my surround, so I had to account for a 1/2 inch difference between the pan and the walls. I cut a filler piece from some PVC stock to make up the difference.

The threshold is only a couple of inches high. I'm not sure a curtain would be effective.

Hi Cathy,
This unit does not require a shower door. You can also use a shower curtain with the unit if you wish.

Answer:
This is a reinforced fiberglass shower pan with a smooth gelcoat finish. All in all it is pretty sturdy, especially when installing over the thinset mortar as recommended. I also reinforced under the seat using close cell foam insulation which reduces sound and provides a more stable rest om the floor.

Hello,
The Coronado Shower pan is manufactured from Gelcoat Reinforced Polymer. The product is manufactured by spraying a mold with a top layer of gelcoat and subsequent layers of resin and fiberglass.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it the seat makes my shower so much better, easy to get in and out April 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice base with a seat. Fits in standard tub opening. Easy enough to install. Be sure to use thinset underneath for a solid feel. If you plan on using a standard shower door kit, opt for the matching surround as well. The edge of the base extends out from the wall an extra 1/2 inch, so a tile on 1/2 inch backer will not be vertically flush with the base. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fit perfectly Perfect for small bath renovation in 60 year old house. Exactly as pictured and dimensions were accurate. April 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice shower this is a nice fiberglass shower pan that is tub size. the stool will be nice when my feet are tired. The white is not bright white but real close to white tile color. I read some reviews that state the floor is soft. but it will be solid if you do the morter or thin set pile pours under as you set it .small piles where any voids are so they squish down when you set it for the last time . foam doesn't work as it is spongy . use the morter and take time to be sure its square and level as much as possible.i had a 60 1/2 " opening and had to lay the tub on its face edge so I could stuff the corner between the studs left of the drain which gives you enough room to swing the stool end around into its corner which is easier since the stool area is hollow and gives you the swinging room you need. once in place you can roll it back over and onto the cleats that were previously screwed to the wall studs. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product / Great Value! Very good product and great value. I'm still in process of my building project, so I have not used it yet. So far - so good. Appears to be good quality product. Drain hole was a tad off alignment but should not be a problem. February 24, 2016
