I'm renovating an apartment that had no backsplash under the cabinets and the wallboard walls were a mess. I thought about ceramic tile or imitation ceramic tile but the stuff is expensive and I just wanted something to cover the walls that would be easy to clean. This tile board was perfect. It's inexpensive, easy to cut on a table saw and installs with wallboard adhesive. I used white plastic seam strips at the joints, ends and the corner. The finished product look great and I saved a bunch of money and labor.

I use this product all the time in kitchens, baths and even in laundry areas.
1) Always use a fine panel blade in a circular saw and cut from the back to prevent chipping.
2) Lightly sand cut edges with fine (110) grit sandpaper and seal the edges using one part epoxy paint... like the paint you would use to restore a sink, tub or wall tile.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by adrienne Can go from white to just about ANY color you want
I have this is my kitchen currently. When I bought my house it was this UGLY sunflower yellow color and since I wanted a black and white kitchen, I painted it BLACK. I used rustoleum brand spray paint at first, behind the kitchen door as a test spot, then bought it by the gallon since it was already on the wall. Went over the "grout" with a silver paint pen and VIOLA black & white kitchen. Just make sure you paint either outside before hanging OR in a VERY WELL ventilated area(lots of windows open and lots of fans going). Also be sure to seal with a couple of coats of polyurathane, which I never got around to, so now I have kitty scratch marks from them learning to jump up into the windows.

I have used this product many years ago and it holds up very good. Just be careful when cutting it. Use a fine tooth saw blade or it may chip. I'm using it as a back splash around the kitchen counters. It's almost maintenance free, no grout to clean, just wipe it down with spray 9 or other cleaner. It's easy to clean with little effort, looks great and it's cheap compaired to ceramic tile. Measure it, cut it, glue it, slap it up and your done.

These panels look good, are water resistant, and sturdy. Also, they are not a bad price for what you get.
