Hello Ally,
Thank you for reaching out! The hardware provided with the house numbers are for either wood or concrete installation, which might be why you are running into a problem. The house numbers are versatile when it comes to installation options, however, the hardware and method used will depend on the surface you are mounting them on. For aluminum siding, the installation method will depend on what is underneath the siding. If there is concrete underneath the siding and the siding lays flat on the concrete, you can use the instructions and hardware provided with the house numbers for concrete installation. If this is the case, you will use the screws and plastic anchors you were provided. On the contrary, if you do not know what is underneath the siding or if it is simply insulation, you may want to consult a professional before drilling any holes into the side of your home. Lastly, you may use high-grade double-sided tape to stick the house numbers to your siding. This method, however, is not recommended for stable installation, nor does it allow you to install the house numbers in a "floating" fashion. Again, thank you and if you desire further assistance please feel free to call us at 310-374-5700 or email us at support@architecturalmailboxes.com. Thank you! Read Less

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect! We mounted the 4 inch satin nickel numbers on a lava paver to create a new address sign. Stunning results! July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by handsome house numbers Installed approximately one month ago, so too early to tell how it will age. Thus far, extremely satisfied. No signs of it weathering Medium difficulty to install on a mailbox. There is no template, so had to make my own (I did not anticipate a template). I used the post to determine where the holes should be. The posts are slightly splayed, so the holes did not line up perfectly. Fortunately, the numbers are wide enough to hide the drilling sins. Should not be a problem if you mount with the raised posts August 9, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect! We mounted the satin nickel numbers on a lava slab to create a new address sign. Simply love the result! July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick way to gain curb appeal! Extremely attractive and easy to install. 4 inch size makes numbers easy to read from the street. I love the modern font, nickel finish and floating effect- it really updated our 70's era ranch house. There are no exposed screws in the front for a clean look. We mounted the numbers to a decorative wood panel purchased at a craft store, then painted to match our shutter and front door color. Incredible value, looks expensive, very satisfying for a small project! June 7, 2016
