CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 95 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dehumifier dilemma I bought this product not never hearing of Arctic Aire or Danby....like another reviewer said the box looked like it was thrown down a flight of stairs, the machine was intact....unfortunately it gave me an error code. The manufacturer told me it was a refrigerant problem. Home depot customer support was most helpful, I brought the defective one back for a full refund and the new one arrived in 4 days not beat up and working perfectly .... I had an old Capehart that was 15 years old and worked well but was an electricity hog, bought a Frigidaire 4 years ago it lasted less than 3 years. And if I remember correctly if something goes wrong within 90 days, I don't have to fix it under warranty, I can have it replaced.... that's a plus ! June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product this unit is very quite as well as light and easy to move around ive owned several dehumidifiers due to a damp basement and none have removed moisture like this one June 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent dehumidifier This is a very good dehumidifier. It works well in the cool basement. The only problem I can find is that it isn't very easy to remove & replace the bucket. I don't have direct drain access. August 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Arctic Air Dehumidifier So far this has been a great product. I have a pretty large basement (1,000sqft) with a shower and laundry room and this gets rid of all the moisture in the air. I have noticed a great difference in the air quality and smell since I have been running this a few days during the week. August 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Effective and simple - great bargain! Pulls humidity out fast! Be sure not to remove the Styrofoam piece that's inside the water sensor or the water will spill from the bucket (u will know what I mean when u see it). July 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and quiet.... I am very pleased with this dehumidifier - so far. As long as it continues to operate quietly and efficiently, I will recommend it to others. The only concern I have is the electronic controls. I'm old school and prefer mechanical settings. Otherwise, thank you for a good quality product. June 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by works well Dehumidifier works good , its not quiet but not really loud. The draw to empty is poor quality cracked first week of use. Unit would rate excellent except for cheap plastic draw January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for the price This is our first purchase of a Danby product, but won't be our last. This Dehumidifier is working perfectly for our finished basement area. We didn't think there was much humidity, however, we've had lots of rain earlier this summer and decided we needed to make sure. Surprise, there was and the dehumidifier has been efficient, effective, and really quiet. You really notice the difference. We want to move the dehumidifier from area to area so we haven't used the hose method. Weve emptied it most evenings as it's been full. It's just starting to shut off so we know it's really taking care of the added moisture. Great product at a very reasonable price. August 11, 2015
