It's a standard Chinese made product, followed instructions & one of the 4 screws to fasten the backside of the fan shroud was not coming out, needed to dril it out and find a new screw. As others have said the nozzles are large & anything close gets wet, however if you keep a clear zone to the area you want cool it should work well. It will be used all day tomorrow so we will see.

Bought it to mist my orchids during hot Florida summers. Does a good job misting and supplying air flow, but the orchid area is only 10x10.
One negative I had to put it on a small table to gain some height. The fan is not very high.

The fan works well, my issue is that the mist is more like a small jet stream, gets anything near it soaking wet in the matter of seconds. I was hoping for a fine mist that would evaporate before hitting the ground.

Although this misting fan had a very badly damaged box, the fan was very easy to assemble!
Since we live in the desert SW these are a very easy answer to our summer heat, and does
a great job of cooling our back patio with ease. We feel this was an outstanding VALUE!

Made in China. Assembly went fine until it was time to attach the fan head. The holes would not line up for attachment. Also found the base was very wobbly with just the fan head sitting on the pole. Bought two fans on-line; did not open the second one. They will both be returned.

I would give this zero stars if I could. It took the better part of an hour to assemble, the "adjustable height" is a joke. Maximum height is not even 4 feet tall! Plugged it in, 30 seconds later the gfci on the fan plug tripped. Tried it again, same thing. I thought maybe the problem was with my plug, so I moved it to another outlet and tried it. It seemed to work, until I tried to adjust the tilt on the fan head. The second I touched the motor, the gfci tripped again! Repeated this process twice, same results.
What a piece of junk! Not to mention everything is cheapee plastic. And the water mist is more like a deluge. I should have listened to the other reviewers. Save your money. I'm going back to the same brand I had before the wind blew it over and broke the motor head off. Costs a bit more, but that fan was over 5 years old and still worked great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jm Works as designed but falls short of hopes
Directions for assembly are good. All parts easy to identify. Fan and mist system work as expected. The resulting moist wind does slightly cool the patio area but does not, as hoped, prevent patio guests from mosquito attack. Additional fans or bug zappers or repellent spray are still necessary.

This fan is great, but hard to regulate the water going through it. It causes everything close to get to become wet. Improvement needs to be made on the misting nozzles. It does cool you down.
