About durability

I live in a condo and we have a lawn service that comes it and does our mowing & weed eating. They are not the most careful group of people. I am concerned about how sturdy these are. I had put out solar lamps to line my drive way, in my front yard and they just knocked them down & broke them-three times! I had even put stakes that looked like flowers next to them that were about 10-12 inches high so they would be sure to see them. I just want to know if they use the weed eater close to them or hit them will they hold up? Also the ground has some tree roots and is a bit uneven. I have 24" L x6" H x 2" D white popcorn brick in there now and they look dirty all the time and in some places tend to sink down in the ground farther than the others. I thought if I put down some fresh soil and evened it out, and then laid the brick it might raise them a bit but also eliminate the problem with the roots and even the ground a bit. What do you think?

Answer:
They will break if you put the lawn mower or weed eater near them. What I did was make a small dirt border so the mower goes in the dirt and won't touch the edgers here.

Answer:
Not to worry, the bricks are very sturdy and can be mowed around very easily plus you will love the look.
The bricks have stakes and are easily installed. The lawn mower will not break them up, my husband has mowed around them several times.

Answer:
Our solar cubes are charged by the sun as all solar is. There are solar panels in every cube or we would not call them solar.

This question is a little difficult to answer. When the bricks are connected together the sharpest angle is about 15 degrees. The connected bricks are meant to allow for curves not bends. Answer:
The smallest circle that can be made with the connectors snapped into the brick is 42". If you need to make 30, 45 or 90 degrees, etc, the connectors have to be cut on one end of the angle that you desire and the other end will butt up against the brick. It will not snap into the brick, as your cutting one end off.

Answer:
I installed the decorative bricks in August so they have only been exposed to the heat for a month or two. So far so good. In my opinion they probably will stand up very well. Since they are plastic I am more worried about severe cold (will they crack if hit). This is a great product for the price. They look good and were exactly what I was looking for.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by decorative brick edging the edging was easy to assemble. the solar lights lit the first night even though they weren't in the sun all day. the brick went into the ground very easy and the finished product looks fantastic! was exactly what my flower garden was needing May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 40 FT. DECORATIVE PLASTIC BRICK EDGING WITH 6 SOLAR LIGHTED BRICKS These bricks worked out great, love the light, bright and the light last all night..have order more to complete the yard...easy to install and unless you are right on top of them, they look like the real thing. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 40 FT. DECORATIVE PLASTIC BRICK EDGING WITH 6 SOLAR LIGHTED BRICKS I've had these plastic brick edgers with solar lights for over a year. I am a woman and installed completely by myself so it's not difficult. The bricks have held up well but by month 6 every solar light busted. A few broke from the dog walking over them and the others just broke from weather(rain, sun) I suppose. I believe I ordered around 3 sets. I looked up the solar brick replacements but felt they were a bit expensive. You might could just buy the solar part but I ended up just getting the cheap solar staked lights from walmart and placing them where the solar light went. The light part removes easily from the brick. Other than the solar part breaking these are nice edgers. May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick Beautification Problem Solver Product looks good and was easy to assemble and install. Does not look like plastic. I've only had them installed for a few weeks. I was concerned about how the product would fare against rain when it comes to the lights. I've seen a little condensation, but lights continue to work. Look great at night. I plan to buy more. Easy DIY project. Only recommendation would be to add more end caps, especially when you consider framing off multiple edges. Two end caps are not enough considering the quantity of pavers. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value I was sceptical of these bricks for trimming the flower bed but they turned out great. The lights all work and you can't even tell they are plastic. Its what we needed to dress up the front flower bed before listing our house on the market. May 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Look great I was hesitant to use anything plastic in my yard for fear of looking cheap but these look great and the lights are a nice addition. Put them around our palm trees to line out a flower garden and they look great.Very realistic looking from the road and again the lights at night add a nice touch. Might want to just use a trimmer around them since a mower will push them out of alignment but it's an easy fix. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome purchase and beautiful addition to my landscape The bricks were really very easy to install and they really added beauty to my landscaping. I love the quality of the material and you really have to get really close to actually know that the bricks aren't real. Thank you so very much for making such a wonderful product available at a reasonable price. D. Nance September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plastic Brick Edging with 6 Solar Lighted Bricks Lights were exactly as pictured. Beautiful to look at, effective as a lighting tool. Highly recommend to any one wanting to add beauty to their yard. Easy to assemble, but becomes costly if you trim your entire yard. Bought 90 bricks but need 120. Will have to buy more or will opt for concrete ones. Would like to purchase 10 solar bricks but solar bricks aren't sold separately/individually. If they are PLEASE let me know!!! Live in southern California and we have plenty of 'hot' sun so solar bricks work GREAT! June 2, 2015
