Answer:
The lights themselves have the solar charging - there is no separate panel or anything to see. We've had them 3 years and they work great. Not even 1 of the 12 falters!

Answer:
Our solar cubes are charged by the sun as all solar is. There are solar panels in every cube or we would not call them solar.

these come up in the winter?

I bought so many of these a few years ago. Now in the winter from the cold they come up. Also the deer pull them out. So every spring I have to pound them back in which is a lot of work. Is there any way to get something that would stay put?

Answer:
I gave up on these. It was too much work every spring to put them back. I gave all the ones I had which was a lot and cost me about $500 away. I just had edging done in many gardens with mulch, and in 3 other areas I bought actual stones which are heavier and hopefully will do better in the winters here. It was a disappointment. I dont recommend this to anyone who has rough winters.

We have not encountered any problems with our Decorative Plastic Brick Edging and we do not make any other Edging. Possibly the dirt, mud, snow, leaves is collecting underneath the bricks in the winter. We suggest before pushing them back in the ground, be sure to clear anything that may have accumulated under the bricks. Then push them in the ground. That should help make them stay in the ground better Read More

3 years later the bricks haven't changed color in the least and the solar lights still come on nightly for most of the night. Answer:
I installed the decorative bricks in August so they have only been exposed to the heat for a month or two. So far so good. In my opinion they probably will stand up very well. Since they are plastic I am more worried about severe cold (will they crack if hit). This is a great product for the price. They look good and were exactly what I was looking for.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 106 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by decorative brick edging the edging was easy to assemble. the solar lights lit the first night even though they weren't in the sun all day. the brick went into the ground very easy and the finished product looks fantastic! was exactly what my flower garden was needing May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shockingly effective - 3 years later review We bought these for 3 trees at our cabin and having many solar lights we were well aware of the fail/disappointment rate and also read a few reviews stating the lights didn't last long...but as usual we threw caution to the wind assuming even if they only lasted a year then it was worth it. Well, that was 3 YEARS AGO and they are still going strong and honestly are more effective than we originally wished for. The solar bricks stay lit well into the wee hours of the morning and one tree even has a street light near it which after installation we realized may have caused us total failure but yet, they come on like champs and stay lit almost near all night. I only wish I had every brick solar now rather than just 4 per tree! I have zero regrets and nothing but love for this product! August 10, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic, super easy to install and so good looking! I explored every type of edging available and never would have considered a product like this had it not been for all the rave reviews, but so happy to find it and doubly happy Home Depot is offering it at a price far below other retailers (or even the manufacturer). The solar bricks lit up at dusk just a few hours after it was installed. Argee customer service was also really good about sending a few extra end caps at no charge. I will be ordering more! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it First I was very skeptical about purchasing because I did not see them o ly on picture ,and when I open the box I was disappointed because the lite wait of it but when I put them down around my swimming pool I am very pleased with itooks very nice, was easy to install and I got a lot of compliment already. My order came within two weeks and only tree pic was broken ,but hwn I called every person was very polyte ,helpful and they promised that I will got the replacement in tree weeks, but surprisingly the package came in five days and I got extra pices too. Only think I am not sure the durability because of the lite wait and in the box was broken pices but no one broke during installation .I will see how strong they are next year ,after vinter pass by. I would defenetly recommade this product. July 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Made the yard pop My wife and I bought two sets of these bricks to accent the landscaping we did in the front yard. The bricks, along with the lights really set it off. The only problem we had was with the tracking of them. Not Home Depots fault as much as UPS not updating. July 26, 2016
