Answer:
The lights themselves have the solar charging - there is no separate panel or anything to see. We've had them 3 years and they work great. Not even 1 of the 12 falters!

Answer:
Our solar cubes are charged by the sun as all solar is. There are solar panels in every cube or we would not call them solar.

I live in Florida and when it rains, it pours!!! My walkway slopes down to the sidewalk and water tends to collect after a storm. If they become submerged ( usually gone within an hour or so), how do they hold up?

I don't know about submerged if that is what you mean but we've had ours for 3 years and they are rained on and snowed on often - we live in Missouri so we have all seasons and extremes of them at times...it hasn't phased them at all.

I bought so many of these a few years ago. Now in the winter from the cold they come up. Also the deer pull them out. So every spring I have to pound them back in which is a lot of work. Is there any way to get something that would stay put?

Answer:
I gave up on these. It was too much work every spring to put them back. I gave all the ones I had which was a lot and cost me about $500 away. I just had edging done in many gardens with mulch, and in 3 other areas I bought actual stones which are heavier and hopefully will do better in the winters here. It was a disappointment. I dont recommend this to anyone who has rough winters.

We have not encountered any problems with our Decorative Plastic Brick Edging and we do not make any other Edging. Possibly the dirt, mud, snow, leaves is collecting underneath the bricks in the winter. We suggest before pushing them back in the ground, be sure to clear anything that may have accumulated under the bricks. Then push them in the ground. That should help make them stay in the ground better Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by decorative brick edging the edging was easy to assemble. the solar lights lit the first night even though they weren't in the sun all day. the brick went into the ground very easy and the finished product looks fantastic! was exactly what my flower garden was needing May 24, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 40 FT. DECORATIVE PLASTIC BRICK EDGING WITH 6 SOLAR LIGHTED BRICKS These bricks worked out great, love the light, bright and the light last all night..have order more to complete the yard...easy to install and unless you are right on top of them, they look like the real thing. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MESSED UP HOW LONG AFTER YOU BUY ARE YOU POSTING YOUR REVIEWS They were and for the most part beautiful but are getting wet inside and brittle and not standing up after only a few months for us the bricks still nice and not moving or fading so far but lights are HORRIABLE.. September 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shockingly effective - 3 years later review We bought these for 3 trees at our cabin and having many solar lights we were well aware of the fail/disappointment rate and also read a few reviews stating the lights didn't last long...but as usual we threw caution to the wind assuming even if they only lasted a year then it was worth it. Well, that was 3 YEARS AGO and they are still going strong and honestly are more effective than we originally wished for. The solar bricks stay lit well into the wee hours of the morning and one tree even has a street light near it which after installation we realized may have caused us total failure but yet, they come on like champs and stay lit almost near all night. I only wish I had every brick solar now rather than just 4 per tree! I have zero regrets and nothing but love for this product! August 10, 2016
