Hi there and thank you for your question.
Joe above selected cord should work with no problems with you TORO snow blower.
As long as the cord is three prongs (grounded) and outdoor use rated it should be fine. Please refer to the relevant photos for the optional product in-use image.
Hope this helps

Answer:
A customer can also purchase and use any good quality outdoor cord from their local hardware store. If a customer purchases a cord locally, we recommend a grounded, UL approved 16-3 (16 gauge / 3 wire) cord for lengths up to 25ft and a 14-3 (14 gauge / 3 wire) cord for lengths over 25ft. The cords should be marked as suitable for use with outdoor appliances.

Any 3 prong heavy duty cord will work, however in Canada they have a different electrical standard, even though you can ship it there, for it to work you will need an adapter...

120 Volt power cord part number 02483100 will work with sno-thro 1027LE. Part will need to be purchased through an Ariens service dealer in Canada. Ariens Company does not ship from the factory.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use and good length This item is a bit pricey but will be nice to fire up the snowblower. October 29, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Buy Never buy any Arien Product. I purchased and didnt work. February 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Is it really worth it? I bought this as an OEM add-on for my Ariens snow thrower. It does exactly what it says it does but I have to question if it is really worth the price versus a generic heavy weight 125V three prong male/female extension cord. I see no difference in quality and construction here. I give it three stars and I will keep it because it performs as advertised and I do "need" one, but OEM accessories that command a premium should carry some form of premium performance or feature(s). I just don't see the value-add here. January 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy-not needed Ariens mounts the male prongs upside down (ground plug at top) in the housing on their snowblowers, making it next to impossible to easily connect an extension cord without applying downward pressure/strain. The rounded molding around the ground plug on modern cords prevents this. So I find this product, the area around the ground plug in the photo is FLAT and should easily connect. Nope, actual plug when it arrived is rounded too, no different than your standard 120v cord. Don't buy, complete waste of money. January 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Will not fit the newer 28 Deluxe with Autosteer This and nearly all other 3 prong extension cords WILL NOT fit the new auto steer 28 Deluxe Arien snowblowers. The new engine's electrical connector is ensconced in a plastic housing that is too small to fit a normal cord, I bought a 2 into 3 adapter at the dollar store to get around this desigjn flaw, FWIW the Ariens starts with the pull starter easily and reliably anyway November 18, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It's a heavy duty extension cord. Not a special cord This is an expensive ,$20, 10 foot extension cord. It's not a special cord for starting the snow blower, just a heavy duty cord. December 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fairly good snow blower not so good in heavy snow good most of the time not so good in heavy or wet snow March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works good like any other extension cord I used this because I bought it with my Ariens Sno-tek 920404, and it worked the same with another extension cord. Honestly, all in all you can buy a cheaper extension cord at Home depot thats longer or you can buy one at the dollar store. But on my snow blower it starts fine in the cold so I only used this once.
