Auto Steer

This question is from Professional Series 32 in. Two-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower (926039)

I read some troubling information regarding the inconsistent activation of the auto steer; particularly on uneven services or when using the snowblower on an incline. I also read that the metal skid shoes compound the issues. My driveway apron slants and I was wondering if I should buy a snowblower without the auto turn feature. Any one have issues steering with this model on uneven or slanted services? Thank you.

Answer:
These issues are not common in the Professional series units. The Pro units are balanced in a manner so that the front end does not create as much drag. In your situation, you should see no issues with the auto-turn differential.

Answer:
Rodney, this is a great machine for up to 18 degrees of slope. For higher grades I would recommend looking into a tracked unit.

Answer:
Dave, I understand that our stock can deplete during snow storms and the machines can be hard to come by. Home Depot will be able to give you a better answer with this question as they order our machines and stock them in their warehouses.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 62 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Ariems Model 926039 is a Top Performing high quality machine! The 32 in model 92039 was by far the best snow blower I have owned yet. When searching for a new one I noticed all the intricate parts were of high quality. Every control unit worked exceptionally well in the sub zero, icy weather here on Cape Cod. Top performance in clearing the heavy wet snow as well as at the end of the driveway where the plow leaves you a tough challenge. Easy to steer left or right with ease. All the other models, other then Ariens, improvised with cheap controls which I figured would break under icy cold conditions. Bottom line, buy with confidence, this is the one you what for tough jobs. February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Machine This is a great snow blower, it has great fixtures and very easy to use. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome machine I purchased this Ariens from the recommendation of a Ariens owner. I couldn't be any happier. My first time using it I've found it such a joy to use. By far the best machine I've ever owned. January 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We love our Ariens!! We are very pleased with our newest Ariens snowblower and have have been using them for years - wouldn't trade for anything else! January 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great snow blower with lots of power and easy to manuver. I have a around 500 feet of driveway and get a lot of snow living in the northeast. I have been able to clear my driveway in around an hour or less. Love how easy it is to maneuver, how the snow shoot locks in place along with the many throw angles. This machine has enough power to use higher gears to clear snow and makes easy work of the plowed packed snow at the end of the driveway. I'll can almost say that this snow blower makes it fun instead of work to clear snow off my driveway. I have one issue though with the Ariens cab I purchased with the machine in that fine snow spray comes up under the cab and covers the controls and my hands. June 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I am very happy with the performance of this machine. In March, 2014, I purchased an Ariens Pro 32 snow blower. This past winter, our New England weather put it to the test. We got almost 11 feet of snow during the month of February, 2015. I was not only keeping my own driveway and paths cleared, but also that of a neighbor who was in Florida for the month. The rest of the neighbors on our street call my Ariens "The Beast"! It was that awesome! I am very happy with this machine. It's great to see that quality equipment like my Ariens Pro 32 is still being made in the USA. On a side note: During the winter I added an Ariens snow cab to my snow blower. The cab is well-made, but it won't stay upright. It drops down and hits my head. Any ideas for a fix? June 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A beast After a second winter of substantial snow this machine has proven its worth. Like the snow the initial purchase price has faded. This machine will outlast the operator. Easy to start and easy to operate, for a big machine it is easy to handle. It makes short work out of big snow. Prior to purchasing my machine I checked a lot of reviews and checked some local small engine repair shops for feedback. I am very satisfied with this machine. June 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best snowblower I ever bought I have bought this snow blower by choice after doing lots of research... It had tons of features I wanted and more ! Dual Belts, larger wheel shaft, larger and higher tires, 2 inches higher on the hogger, easy turning neck sitting on balb berings etc... I call it my beast, or the monster... Sometimes my kids will help me with the old one I had, it feels like a big toy, compared when using this monster Arien :) Don't hesitate, do like me, buy it and enjoy it !!! June 5, 2015
