Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leo It keeps right on going.
I am not using the machine constantly maybe 3-5 times a month, depending on the season. I must admit that when I use it, I am abusing it. Have been hiting rocks, cinderblocks, galvanized pipes. Sometimes it complains a little, blade wobbles but I never had to work on it, it keeps right on going. Looks like a electronic gadget, it heals itself when resting. I lost the gasket of the gas cap because I did not put the cap on after fueling. And the battery is going bad but that happens with all batteries when they are not used constantly. I put the charger on, start it and it keeps on working perfectly for another full day.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mowhog Only for level lawns. Front is way too light weight for anything else.
Front wheel(s) come off ground on uneven ground. Forget about mowing slopes or hill work. If you have a level yard without any holes or dips you should be fine, otherwise don't even think about this mower. Other dislike was the choke and fast/slow lever combined. Motor (Kawaski) would take 3-5 times to start the first time. After warm it would start first time. Likes were the foot operated deck raise feature, compact size, and it was quieter then my old Kohler motor, but my Kohler starts first time every time. Also bad was the small battery. Check out the small grass exit opening and determine for yourself if it is large enough for your mowing needs. On my lawn it was like riding on a roller coaster, being moved side to side and back and forth. Felt like I was driving a go cart. Have to admit that was fun but don't make for a straight cut. Also would take 3-4 times to mow down 8-10 inch tall Batchelor Button weeds.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hank After only three uses, machine is operating fine and cuts well.
Customer service during the purchase was excellent. Shipping of the machine to my home address was not accomplished and I would not recommend this option to others who do not have a forklift at home to unload the machine from the common carrier! I had to borrow a neighbors trailer to pick the machine up at the Home Depot store where I had the shipment re directed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Michael This is a great zero turn for the money!!!
This is my 3rd year owning my 42" Zero turn Ariens Mower. I cut over 2 acres with this mower and I have no negative comments. I have not had any problems or issues with this mower. One great feature that I find is very convenient is the foot pedal that raises the deck. When cutting over humps in the yard or over rough terrain this feature comes in handy!! I would recommend this Zero turn to anyone!!!!!!! The only thing I would change for my next purchase is that I will get a 48"- 50" cut due to the amount of grass I have to cut and I will definitely consider another Ariens Mower.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by snowsteve Excellent Mower for the money.
The purchase on this mower was a breeze. I purchased it online and it was sent to a local Ariens dealer to be prepped then delivered to my house. The overall size of this mower was a little smaller than expected but will suit me just fine. The best part about the whole purchase was that I was expecting the 23hp Kohler and recieved a 25hp Kohler engine. I have not used the mower yet but cant wait.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by baddad Great product! Made in the USA Kohler engine..
Exceptional quality, Golf course cut, quiet engine. On 1.5 acres it reduced my cut time by almost an hour. I have an Ariens snow blower as well and it just goes! If you want a quality product made in WI (engine and Body) pick this one!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glen Mower is built tough, and MADE IN THE USA !
Own this mower almost 2 yrs now. I mow my yard and neighbors in less time I use to mow my. I am replacing the seat with a high back seat. Factory equi. seat is to low, and causes some discomfort. I live in SW Florida, our lots are raised, and have steep slopes 3/1. Have no problem mowing them. Up and down or sideways. mower hangs on them no problem. No tipping. I must say I am a retired heavy equipment oper. and am use to riding slopes. Only complaint I have mower was shipped to local dealer. Their set up, and assembly left a lot to be desire. I had to reajust amost every thing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ken71 Excellent mower for even a small yard
I have had lower back issues for many years and finally decided it was time for a riding mower. I did a lot of research on the Internet and decided on the Zoom 50. Love it!!! There are only three cautions with this mower. You have to be careful when making sharp turns as it can easily tear up the grass. The same is true in sloped areas, which I have. I do some of the sloped areas with my old push mower. Also, you shouldn't pause or stop on the lawn with the mower running. It will burn the grass if you do. My next door neighbor is one of those guys who knows everything about engines (he is a retired auto worker). He checked it out after I got it and said that it is the best engine design he has seen in riding mowers.
