What is the price of the 63" version?

What is the price of the 63" version?
Asked by: Doug
The price for the Enduro Steel 63" diameter model (#K05003) is listed at $2578.84 on the HD.com site. The staircase kit is designed to meet the general requirements as established for spiral staircases by the IRC building code. We recommend you have at least 2" greater finished opening space than the diameter of the staircase to avoid a pinch point of the handrail against the finished opening or fixed wall. Should you have additional questions or need further information, please contact our Customer Sales & Support team via our toll free telephone number at (888) 782-4758 and our team will be happy to assist. Thank you for your interest in the Enduro Steel spiral staircase kit.

Height

It says the stairs are 10 feet high - however it comes up short when we installed - how do we get to ten feet?
Asked by: PacPic
The standard kit is adjustable from 99" to 120". If you are coming up short, one reason may the number of spacers you are using between the treads that adjust the rise between the treads. You should have 12 stair treads and 1 landing platform in the standard kit. Please check the installation instructions for the number of spacers to use for the exact height of the staircase installation you are completing and compare this to the number you have used in the installation. If there are still problems, please contact our Customer Sales & Support team via our toll-free telephone number at (888) 782-4758 and any member of our team will be very happy to assist you with the proper calculation of spacers required based on your floor-to-floor measurement. Please also recheck the exact height of the installation because the 120" is the maximum height for the standard kit. If the height is anything greater than 120", you will need an additional stair tread kit to complete the installation to the required total height.

Customer Reviews

Enduro 47 in. Galvanized Steel Spiral Staircase Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but hard to install The product is nice but it was really hard to install. The directions are unclear and the chart for the number of spacers is incorrect. The handrail was next to impossible to install and required a blowtorch to heat it up. And after heating it was still hard to install. Definitely not a one person job. All in all it took me about a day and a half but it looks great and is extremely functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks awesome, but its almost so narrow its unusable. Install was not to difficult, my brother installed it in less than 8 hrs having never done one before I didn't think that was bad. There is some "custom" work that has to be done. You can find the install videos on youtube so check those out before you buy to see if you can do it or not. Over all we are happy with how it looks, but it is very narrow. A larger person would have a hard time with these stairs. Thankfully in our case they are not the main stairs and wont be used much.
