The balusters are approximately 1" in diameter and can be spaced as needed. Does this have a corner piece, also a main baluster and a straight railing to go down the stairs?

Answer:

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not for the faint of heart Good quality rail system. I purchased to go with the stair system, that I had a friend (who is a professional) install. I took this on myself. The instructions are very general, and give little information. I had to call the factory. The phone number didn't work and i had to look up the office. When I did get a hold of them, they were very helpful and I figured it out. You should have at least a little carpentry experience to do this in a short amount of time. Otherwise have a pro install it for you. You should be able to use a saw and drill clean holes into what ever floor and wall material it is going on to. December 13, 2011
