Product Overview

The Phoenix interior spiral staircase model is available in 3 diameters 3 ft. 11 1/4 in., 4 ft. 7 1/8 in., and 5 ft. 3 in. It is available in 3 colors - black, white, and grey - powder coated - ready to install - clockwise as well as counter-clockwise. The standard Phoenix staircase kit is adjustable in height from a range of 8 ft. 3 in. to 10 ft. 1/2 in. With additional components, this kit can be extended to a maximum height of 12 ft. 4 in. or to a minimum of 6 ft.10 5/8 in. The standard spiral staircase kit has a 360º rotation and by adding or subtracting risers the rotation will change by approx. 30º per riser. Additional riser kits can be purchased separately. The Phoenix stair treads are manufactured from European beech wood, finished with a light natural stain and clear coat protective sealer. To allow for proper installation and full clearance, the finished (round, square or mezzanine) opening for the installation of the spiral staircase must be at least 2 in. greater than the diameter of the staircase kit. To complete your project a balcony rail kit is available. Riser bars are available in a set of 12 to close off the back of the treads. Each Phoenix staircase kit is shipped complete with detailed assembly instructions and a DVD to assist in your installation.

The height of my application is 109" from top to bottom, and I have a specific spot where I would like the first step to start, and the last step to end. When I install each step, will I be confined to a pre-defined location/angle, or will I be able to adjust each step slightly so that I can get the first and last step to start and finish where I want? Thx.

There is a pre-defined tread position based on the rotation of the staircase in either a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. The tread positions are also determined based on the specific height of the installation and the diameter of the staircase...47", 55", or 63". There is an excellent stair builder/planner tool available on our website at www.arkestairs.com that will allow you to enter the specific measurements of the height of the installation and the diameter of the staircase. If you access our website and in the top line of the tool bar, click on "spiral staircases" and then click on the "Phoenix". Approximately half way down the Phoenix landing page you will see the builder/planner tool to use. When you enter all the information requested, you will be able to print an actual drawing of the tread positions beginning with tread 1 (on the bottom floor) to the landing that is mounted flush at the top level. If you have questions or need assistance with using the builder/planner tool, please contact our Customer Sales & Support team via our toll-free telephone number at (888) 782-4758 and our team will be glad to assist you with this builder/planner tool to plan the exact positions of each of the treads.
