Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Only OK I installed a 3/4 Liguidtight conduit about 3 feet long to swivel (angle) connectors at each end. 3/4 conduit with #6 wire in it is heavy. The swivel connectors would not even hold up the weight of the conduit without risking the swivel joint popping out. Not only that, the threads in the plastic nut were so loose and weak - two days later the fitting was about to fall out - and certainly wasn't liguid tight any more! These straight fittings looked much better. And compared to the swivel joints, they are much better. The steel nut tightens up and stays tight. But the fitting nut threads are so shallow and weak that the strain relief cannot be tightened. I had to put a hose clamp on the outside of the fitting to cause the threads to have enough pressure to tighten! These fittings are about 10% of the cost of the equivalent steel Sealtite(r) fittings. I will definitely use them again, but carefully - probably with the hose clamp to begin with. Recommended with reservations... September 22, 2014
