I was looking to wrap my car a/c cold lines and it worked, i covered cold lines which are open not covered Originally from Compressor till your car firewall just keep the cut side to the bottom and use plastic wire ties but don't tight too much so it can breath so all water drips out if any condensation get created that way it protect lines not to get rust , you will get about 20-30% more cool air inside your dash area & save gas by shutting a/c quick after the cooling is done, and you will get intense cool air inside your car in hot days and its Fire rated so it will not melt away in engine heat.Good stuff it worked.DO NOT COVER A/C LINES WHICH ARE HOT JUST COVER COLD LINE.

My hot water pipes run under my house in the crawl space. They are exposed to cold air during the winter and lose heat quickly. After insulating the pipes, I have notice that the water stays nice and hot for a much longer time. Easy to install and provides great insulation. I didnt trust the self sealing ability so I applied additional tape to hold it in place.

Do not buy if you're planning to use this on hot water pipes because it won't stick once the pipes get hot.
