Well, at the moment I borrowed the one from my regular vacuum cleaner and it fit. I will go online and check soon, though.

Answer:
Yes but not thru Home depot. you can get it at a vacuum store. you could also use a couple and put two together. But I will warn you it will diminish the sucking power. My suggestion is use a longer extension cord and bring it to where you are vacuuming.

Loose connection between container and power head?

This question is from 2.5-gal. Wet/Dry Vacuum with 1.25 in. Hose and Accessories

The instructions state; “Place the power head back on the container, aligning the top section with the latches, and snap into place”.
Having done this, I find that the container is very loose on to the power head – there is ¼” free movement between the two parts.
I expected that the connection would be tight between the power head and the container.
Is that much loose play normal?

Answer:
Hello Owner, thank you for your question. Yes, it is normal for this vacuum. When the vacuum is operating, the tank is under a negative pressure which pulls the lid down with ease onto the tank to complete the seal. Thank you!

Virginia,
Thank you for your response. Mine is loose when not in use - the container moving freely up and down by circa 1/4" from the head. When I switch the vacuum on, the suction pulls the container tightly up against the head. Do your containers fit snuggly against the head when the vacuum is not in use?

Where do you think all the air that is getting sucked into the vacuum goes? I'm sorry, but there is no "black hole" switch that prevents air from blowing out.

Hello Caldin. The AA255 blower functionality occurs when the hose is plugged into the port on the motor head. When vacuuming, , the hose must be inserted into the port on the canister. There should be some air flow that will exit the blower port while using the vacuuming port due to the buildup of air pressure. Please also check to see if your cloth filters are properly installed onto the motor. Thanks Read More

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 125 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best product For such a small vacuum it is quite powerful. Love it! September 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy Only gave it one star because zero wasn't an option. Worked ok for a few uses then lost all suction. The little it did vacuum up came back out the hose when I shut the motor off. The features were ok except it could have a longer hose and longer attachment to get between seats. August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suck it up Vacuum is everything I expected. Used it to vacuum our cars. Removed the sand from the beach with no problem. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what you need Works perfect and is a great size for everyday use. This will make keeping your car clean a breeze. Home Depot had the best price too. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little vacuum Perfect little shop vac for small jobs like cleaning the inside of your car, getting all the grit from the corners of your balcony or getting rid of all the icky spider webs in the garage. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a extension tube to reach up along the ceiling corners. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not bad so far I install tile and my big shop vacs to the dirty work and I got this to keep in the bathrooms with me so at the end of the day I quickly vacuum up and keep my workspace clean while not taking up as much room as the shop vacs. also easier to cary around the house and not have to worry about bumping into a wall like the big shop vacs. I also tried cleaning my truck with it and my only complaint is the brush attachment that you would use to try and clean and vacuum the seats with comes off very easily when your doing a back and forth motion. for the money cant really beat it June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product! Worth it for the sale price! It gets the job done! August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handiest shop/auto vac ever & I've owned quite a few. Light, powerful & has great accessories. Ever try to blow up a large beach toy designed to be blown up using your mouth?? The pointy accessory did in seconds what would have taken me forever. (hooked up blower port) July 19, 2016
