Answer:
Yes, that is what it is made for. Read the directions and follow them for best results. You will have to let the product sit on the floor for a few minutes, but then the dirt will come right off.

This ready to use, so apply directly to the floor, let it sit, and clean with a mop or scrub brush. Rinse after use. It will remove ground-in dirt and wax build up.

Answer:
No, New Beginnings should never be used on linoleum. You would want to use a stripper that is designed for linoleum floors. You want to make sure that the PH of that product is 10 or less. I hope this information helps.

Answer:
Use the Armstrong companion product. I can't think of it offhand, but it should be shown on the same page if you look on the Home Depot website under "Armstrong Floor Products."

After using New Beginning on your vinyl floor, you can use either our Armstrong Shinekeeper (for high gloss floors) or our Armstrong Satinkeeper (for low gloss floors).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! This stripper worked great! You still have to scrub and put some effort into it but it works! Some areas required a second application. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING seriously saved my life . I was so close to giving up and having new floors installed . This stuff really works. It takes a good bit of time and a lot of elbow grease but it is WELL worth the time, money and effort . Fair warning it took me 4 hours to apply , scrub (square by square) , wipe up , and apply the after gloss. It will require some effort but the results are simply amazing . Couldn't be happier . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superior Product It is so refreshing to purchase a product that does exactly what it says it will. I used Armstrong New Beginning on my 30 year old no wax kitchen floor, and it magically stripped away the built up dirt.. I didn't even need to scrub! This product is simply amazing, and I can't recommend it enough. The floor looks like new. After using New Beginning, I applied Armstrong Shine-Keeper, and I cannot be happier with the results of both products! July 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work as advertised I bought Armstrong new beginning floor stripper and cleaner because it was advertised as made especially for no wax vinyl floors, designed to remove heavy buildups. The reviews seemed to be good and I took a chance and purchased the product. The product removed surface dirt but did not come close to removing embedded and impacted dirt buildups in the textured surface of my no wax vinyl floor. I wasted $10 + tax, gas and travel time, and a lot of energy, scrubbing the floor with a nylon brush (as recommended) to remove "heavy buildups" after letting the product sit on the surface of the vinyl for a few minutes as instructed. I experienced total disappointment with this product. I cannot recommend this product to anyone unless it is to clean light surface dirt that good old soap and water can do for practically nothing. Save your money!! June 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Floor Stripper! Wow! This worked great! We were amazed! Too many products out there claim to work, but don't. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I installed Armstrong Solarian sheet vinyl in our kitchen way back in the early 90s, and kept it clean for at least the first 10 years. More recently, I got very busy and let the floor get very dirty. On top of that, my wife was using the Swiffer cleaners (not recommended) for the past several years. Needless to say, the floor looked pretty bad--dirty and very dull. But after following the directions for the New Beginnings cleaner, the floor looks great. Clean and amazingly, the shine is almost like it was 24 years ago! I will next apply the Armstrong Shinekeeper and expect the shine to return completely. December 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this product. Works Great!!! This product does a great job cleaning the floor and then when you use the finish product you can make an old floor look great! March 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING! Although it's not recommended for laminate floors, it worked wonders! Our renters moved out of our rental house and the floors were disgusting! They had a waxy dirty residue on them that was almost impossible to remove. I spent 1/2 a day cleaning the floors in the master bedroom with a scrub brush on my hands and knees and tried many different types of cleaners and degreasers and the floors were coming out relatively clean. I picked up a bottle of this stuff and finished the rest of the house in less time than I spent in just the master bedroom. I put it in a spray bottle and did a 6'X6' area or so at a time. I'd spray it on the floor and let it sit for 5 minutes or so. Then took a brush on a pole and worked it around a little bit. By the time I started working it around it was like I was pushing around puddles of muddy water (which was the residue coming off of the floor). After working it around with the brush I used a sponge mop and a bucket of clean water to soak up all of the nastiness that had been dislodged from the floor. The floors looked like new again! I went back over the master bedroom with a light coating to get off what my previous cleaning method had missed. May 9, 2014
