I used these tiles to replace a floor in a 1948 travel trailer. I had to do a bit of trial and error in cutting these tiles. I first tried to use one of the tile cutters that score and snap, but that was a poor choice. The tiles didn't snap cleanly. Then I went to using a straight edge and scoring with a utility knife before snapping the tiles. This was ok, but I still had tiles that wouldn't cooperate. Once I figured it out and kept using the utility knife/straight edge to score (but scored each tile more than 10 times) and then slowly/carefully/gently snapped the tiles I had success. If I need to do this again on another project, I think it will go smoothly.
Attached picture is probably not great quality. It was taken inside the barn where I'm working on the trailer and there are no lights.

Tiles were special ordered and came in within days of ordering, ( I was told 2 weeks).
We used the Pomegranate Red tiles as accent tiles. First time installing these tiles - Worked out pretty well I would say. This is the Dormitory of our RED BARN project. Should last a long time.

I had the tiles shipped to my local store from another Home Depot store.
When I received the box of tiles I noticed the shipping tag was placed over some non-factory clear tape.
When I opened the box at home I discovered the box had been dropped and the corners of the tiles were broken.
Because the shipping sticker was placed over the clear tape indicated that the tiles were damaged prior to shipping to me.
I needed the tiles and could not wait for another attempt on another order of possibly "Good: tiles.
I was forced to cut the tiles down in size to complete my job.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PITTSTON POOR COLOR MATCHING PROCESS AT HOME DEPOT MAKES EXTRA WORK
The Home Depot salesman was finishing a 14 hour work day so he was exhausted and frustrated. Many of the samples of VCT that were supposed to be in his sample boxes had been loaned out to other customers so it was very hard to get a match to the VCT I had brought in from my house to match. When the VCT arrived 10 days later it was a completely different color from what I was attempting to match. At this rate I could go back and forth a dozen times before finding the color I need so I am going straight to Armstrong where the tile is manufactured and marketed. Their computer matching system is far better than the dark aisle Home Depot has their few boxes of VCT in inventory and where their color matching board is 10-feet off the ground buried deep within the recess of a pallet rack.

I bought this for a checkerboard floor in my craft room. I was hoping for a pretty, cheerful yellow that wasn't blinding or obnoxious. These tiles are just the perfect color! I didn't want to do the traditional 1'x1' checkerboard floor because that seemed too fussy. Instead I did 4'x4' which made a much larger checkerboard that I am thrilled about! I paired these tiles with "White Out" (no colored flecks like other white VCTs). Couldn't be happier.
Some of the tiles had discolored blotches and some I broke while cutting so make sure you order plenty of extras.
I used Armstrong s-750 adhesive which worked really well and was pretty straightforward to use. It's SUPER messy, though, so wear junky clothes and especially junky shoes!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bertram Good value and convenience
I checked prices online and found that with free shipping to the store, this was the best value. It's convenient to be able to ship to a store near the project site.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by homeowner arrived at local store damaged-did not install well
The box arrived with a third of the tiles unusable. Luckily it was a small space so we did not need the whole box and were able to cut some of the damaged tile to install. We followed all manufacturers instructions regarding prep and installation and the tiles shrunk 24 hours after install leaving a sizable gap 2 feet long. I lost my confidence in Armstrong. I took a chance ordering on line to ship to the store because I loved the color and I had confidence in the brand. We are going to have to redo the floor (a bathroom) which is a big let down.
