Customer Questions & Answers

Can these peel and stick tiles be used in a bathroom where there is a lot of moisture?

Asked by: Mary
Yes but I would use a sealer on it.

Is this specific product groutable being that it is so thin?

we purchased this assuming that we xcould lay it out with spacers and then grout it like ce3ramic tile but looking at it it seems much more thin than similar products
Asked by: robg
Hi robg, Since this is indeed a thin vinyl tile, it is not groutable. ONLY use a vinyl tile if it does state on the box or online that it is groutable, Since this tile never stated it, and due to its lack of thickness, it would be very unwise to grout it. Joseph

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks nice, and easy to install I was looking for inexpensive self stick tile to use for a room in our basement. This was a nice pattern in a color that wouldn't suck all the light out of the room. It also had more tiles per box at a really low price. It is very thin, so proper prep work is important. I used TSP to clean the floor, and Henry 336 Bond Enhancer. So far, I really like how the floor turned out. It looks great, and feels a lot nicer than bare concrete under foot. Time will tell how well it holds up. So far I've done one 140 square foot room. If it holds up, I'll do the rest of the basement. If not, I'll look for something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice neutral tones. We had subcontractors install this tile and they did it very quickly. It looks very nice on the floor and the colors blend well with both tan and gray. For the most part you do not see the lines between the tiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love this stuff! I put this in my laundry room and 1/2 bathroom. Easy to cut and install and the color is perfect. Has held up well for a year now in the laundry room with lots of traffic. Only negative is that it is very slippery for a week or two until the sheen wears off but then it is fine!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Peel and stick tile. Purchased 16 cases of tile few months and had it stored in garage. I don't know if they sold me old tiles but the tiles are not sticking at all. It feels like glue on tile has worn off over time. Couldn't return the remaining cases because of the store 90 days return policy had expired. The concrete floor in basement was sealed prior to installation. So, I now have to use spray adhesive glue at $13.00 a can and spray each individual tile and concrete, so it would stick. I've used peel and stick tiles before and never had that problem. I'm wondering storing tiles in garage was a bad idea.
