Hi Trish,
I applied this over my concrete basement floor. I used a primer first to ensure proper curation. If you flooring is even I recommending sanding it a bit. The flatter the surface, the better.

Yes. Do make sure they are clean and dry and watch the temp of the concrete. Will not stick if installed on a very cold surface.

No problem but use a primer on the concrete first. Home Depot sells several different kinds that work well over concrete.

Yes it can. As long as the existing linoleum is even/level. If uneven cut the bad spots and fill with glue.

Answer:
Would not do that unless the linoleum is stuck solid to the floor. Even then you will need to get an extra adhesive, like I did, to get them to stick. On the other hand, they are cheap and may be the best solution for your needs.

Answer:
You sure can. Just make sure the area to be covered is cleaned very well and stripped of any floor wax. The existing linoleum must be taken down to the bare surface. Anything left behind might stop the new linoleum from sticking properly. The peel and stick backing should work fine but if it does not then try a can of spray glue by 3M and use a wallpaer roller.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 87 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Money saver!!!! It was going to be $1200 to have professionals come to my house and put down linoleum. I could not afford that so I opted for this instead. I did the entire project myself for only $210. That is with about 7 boxes of this tile. It was in my guest room for 3 years before I decided to use it for the rest of my house and it has really stood up to some beating and heavy use. It handles spills perfectly and looks professional! I am so happy with this product. I haven't had a problem with the adhesive as it is very strong. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it! Once my daughter moved out, I transferred her room into my office. So I replaced the carpet with the Bodden Bay vinyl tiles. The new look is amazing! I did it myself, it was quick and easy to apply. You cannot go wrong with this product. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome looking floor Store personnel were excellent in helping me to locate the tile. When home we installed tile with very little difficulty. When we made a mistake we could easily change it. After weeks the floor still looks like new. I would buy and recommend the Armstrong tile again. September 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install... looks great Love this product, easy to install and looks great. January 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by looks great in my kitchen Ordered on-line and picked up in-store. No hassles everything was easy. Installation was a breeze. Very easy to lay and cut tiles. Watched YouTube videos to learn how to remove old tile. Great product for first timers. September 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product for a first time DIY person The installation is quick and simple and the tiles were easy to trim with just a pair of sissors a simple square and pencil for drawing straight lines were are the tools needed November 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product worked out perfectly! This tile was easy to cut and install and was what I would consider to be high quality glue that firmly stuck as soon as we put pressure on it. It looks fantastic and I wish it was still going to be carried in stores- I would tile more rooms in it! January 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great but isn't sticking I wanted something inexpensive but nice-looking to cover a basement cement floor after our old asbestos tiles were professionally removed. The abatement team also used a sealer over the cleaned concrete, which left it super sticky. These new tiles look great and went down easily (by my handyman). He did use the primer, which was recommended by someone at Home Depot. We also had a flooring store check the concrete moisture levels at one point and were told the concrete was dry. However, despite all these factors the tiles are not sticking at all! It's been a week, no one has walked on the floors and the tiles are all peeling up. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I hope we can somehow salvage the tiles by adding extra adhesive to the ones that are coming up, so we don't have to start over with a new product. August 26, 2015
